August returns to the magical island of his youth to bury his mother. But he has to confront the love he left behind, & the community that thinks he‘s a killer. There are more dark secrets to be unearthed than he expects.
I liked the atmosphere & the magic. But I think this should have been a movie, w/ multiple random POVs, out of order flashbacks. Every time I started getting invested, it felt like Young switched it up to confuse me.🌕🌕🌕🌑🌑
