The Cinnamon Bun Book Store
The Cinnamon Bun Book Store | Laurie Gilmore
From the author of the Sunday Times bestseller and viral TikTok phenomenon, The Pumpkin Spice Cafe, comes a brand new spicy romance set in Dream Harbor! Working at Dream Harbor's bookstore, Hazel Kelly spends her time surrounded by books, but with her thirtieth birthday drawing near, she worries she has no exciting stories of her own. What she needs is an adventure. Noah's life on the other hand seems to just be one big adventure. With his boat and tattoos, the man lives and breathes excitement. When clues start turning up between the pages of the books in her store, Noah offers to help Hazel decode them. And who better to help than the most adventurous person she's ever met. As the treasure hunt leads them around town, Hazel and Noah unexpectedly find themselves falling for each other. Is it possible that a summer fling could turn into some more, or was it simply the adventure that brought them together? 3.5⭐️ Thought that it was ok; not as good as the first one in the series. I thought that the author could have been more restrained in how many sex scenes were played out and there could have been more of an actual story, like in the first book. #2024 #fiction #romance #contemporaryfiction

Dream Harbor is my happy place and I love and adored the cinnamon bun bookstore. This book had so much heart and plenty of spice!! Can‘t wait to read the next one in the series!!

brittanyreads Can you read them as standalones? Or should you start with Pumpkin Spice? 5d

2 months before Hazel turns 30. She thinks her life is too dull & decides to do all the crazy things you do in your 20s over the next 2 months. When Hazel discovers a clue hidden in a book in the bookstore she works, Noah is there, happy to help. This turns into a scavenger hunt and them spending some time together

I‘ve never read a romance with this much focus on consent and communication during steamy scenes. This is more steamy than the 1st

Felt very generic, unoriginal, but was quite entertaining.

Such a fun, cozy read. A scavenger hunt with the clues inside books and plenty of baked goods. Count me in.
I think I liked book two more than the first. I will definitely be adding the third book to my December #BookSpinBingo list.

Sweet, charming, golden retriever younger guy who it takes a while for recognition to dawn. Always love a book with a bookseller character, especially one as delightful as Hazel. Nice escape leading into fall 😍 #BookspinBingo @TheAromaofBooks

It's cozy reads season, and this series is perfect for this time of year. You've got small town, opposites attract, and he falls first, all combined for Hazel and Noah's story. The "mystery" is low stakes, allowing the couple to get to know each other as their relationship grows. Of course, you have some spicy love scenes and a HEA to make you smile. Plus, for us bookish women, who doesn't like seeing themselves reflected in a steamy romance.

Book two was just delivered! Adding this one and the first one to my Fall/Halloween TBR list. It works out perfectly because the third book is Christmas themed!

Another perfect story in Dream Harbor. I think I liked this one more than the first because there‘s a lot of similarities between me & Hazel. Like Hazel, as I approach my 30s I worry I‘ll regret how I spent my time. Unlike me Hazel decides to do something about it. Hazel & Noah decide to have a summer of fun before her 30th birthday. Noah is a total cinnamon roll book boyfriend. This was seriously just a fun & cute read.
