1. Yes, absolutely! I judge books by their titles and their covers all the time. 🙃
2. I chose Heartless by Marissa Meyer - though I originally pick this one for the audio reader!

batsy Interesting that Lizzy could be quite forgiving of Wickham's reasons for financial security but not Charlotte's! 4y
sprainedbrain @batsy that is very interesting! 🤔 4y
mollyrotondo @batsy ooo very good point! 4y
mollyrotondo I again compare this to S&S. Lizzy is way more mature about Wickham going for the girl with money compared to Marianne and Willoughby. Although in P&P Wickham doesn‘t necessarily give so much attention to Lizzy to break her heart like Willoughby did to Marianne. The situation seems more mature in P&P. 4y
sprainedbrain @mollyrotondo trying not to let my (tiny) soft spot for Willoughby show, but I think Willoughby genuinely loved Marianne, and I‘m not sure Wickham loves anyone but Wickham. 4y
OriginalCyn620 Very good point @batsy! I never really thought about that before! 4y
mollyrotondo @sprainedbrain oh yes Wickham definitely doesn‘t seem to love Lizzy at all. Willoughby at least had affection for Marianne. 4y
rubyslippersreads @sprainedbrain @mollyrotondo I agree. Wickham is out for Wickham. 4y
rubyslippersreads @batsy Excellent point. 4y
staci.reads @batsy I had that same thought this time. I'm behind, so I was just searching through comments to see if anyone talked about this! She is so hard on Charlotte and considers her a sell-out for doing the sensible thing, but she is absolutely forgiving of Wickham and congratulates him on a wise choice. I wonder if this is an example of Austen being a unwitting victim to the patriarchy and double standards she lived with...⬇️ 4y
staci.reads @batsy (cont.) or if she intentionally wrote this contradiction for Lizzie. It's intriguing. 4y

I'm not going to lie Litsy, I found October's covers to be a little bland, overall. Tough life for a #judgy bookworm. 🙃

Still, here are the #Top6 nicest covers for October 2019.

So far I'm mostly confused. And intrigued. I stopped asking myself 'why' after a few pages. But I find the visionary sceneries quite haunting.
Stephen King managed to vaguely irritate me with his introduction. I'm an horrible person.
I will probably hate to love this book.
