My December reading results were good for a busy month. I finished 16 books & started 2. I didn‘t quite get to everything I wanted but I read 3 books & a story for #SeasonalCozies & joined in #NancyDrewBR #SundayBuddyRead #Naturalitsy #MidWinterSolace & read all of my #Roll100 picks as well as completed my #BOTM challenge & #OUABC 40 book challenge.

I‘m midway through my #JolabokaflodSwap book & started the book from my #OUABC Up All Night Box.

I‘m excited to begin our year of #ThematicCozies with Shady Hollow as my January selection. A couple of you have already posted. 👍 What will everyone else be reading?

I had such a good time with #SeasonalCozies this year, of course I‘m going to join #ThematicCozies in 2025. Tagged is my pick for January‘s #Animal theme. First in the series & free to listen to on Audible.

I also found I‘d skipped a short story for the Shady Hollow series so I‘m going to read it as a bonus even if it‘s Halloween based. The SH series became a favorite this year & features a community of animals. I‘ll tag the first book ⬇️

I've really enjoyed! Particularly liked the Juniper Holiday series by Leighann Dobbs. I've listened to Halloween Party Murder, Thanksgiving Dinner Death, and Who Slayed the Santas. Up next is Book 4 Masquerade Party Murder for New Years. My Fatal Valentine is on my February stack. 🎃🦃🎅🏻🎭💝 #myyearinbooks

Since I enjoyed the first book Twelve Slays of Christmas as one of my #SeasonalCozies picks, I decided to listen to the second too. This one takes place at Christmas time year later & it seems Holly is back in Mistletoe, Maine to stay & is renovating the family inn to make it a B&B. Her new besty gets accused of murder & Holly needs to clear her name. I liked this one & the characters & holiday town setting but ⬇️

Finished this holiday short story (one of my #SeasonalCozies December picks) last night which is slightly out of order in the Shady Hollow series, but I wanted to save it for a Christmas/Solstice read. There‘s no murders in this story, instead fox reporter Vera Vixen 🦊 is on the case when the town‘s special solstice tree disappears. It‘s cute, as is the entire series. 🌲💚

5th (& maybe final) book in the Berry Basket Mysteries, a series I started this summer for #SeasonalCozies. I forgot to add it to my December TBR but I‘m glad I remembered & read it. In this one, Marlee Jacob is a last-minute addition to the cast of A Christmas Carol (in her namesake role) to the community theatre‘s annual production after the wealthy old man who has been playing Jacob Marley suddenly dies. Was it ⬇️
