This year I‘ve been reading a lot of historical romances with one of the main characters being another nationality. I like the added layer of conflict this creates. And how it shows the characters rising above societal norms and pursuing their heart‘s desire.
I‘ll keep the other three books in the series on my TBR.

This book was very good! It has three main POV, which helps move the story along. Though at times I wish the author wouldn‘t string me along by withholding information. I did guess two of the plot twists, while one took my by surprise.
I‘m very much looking forward to reading the second and final book of the series!
A local Michigan university is putting on this play. I‘m debating whether to go or not. It may not work out with my schedule.

Glad I‘m reading it on Hoopla instead of buying the ebook, not really getting useful info out of it.
The author details steps to do before putting content out there. When I would have preferred to read about frequency of posts, graphics or just text, repost other authors stuff, and other online marketing items. More like a plan since I know my brand - pirates, Romance, P&P!
pickI thoroughly enjoyed this book! The romance 💝 was beautiful between Vicky and Tom. The stakes were high! And there were a couple twists I didn‘t see coming!

This past Saturday (2/3/24) was Take Your Child to the Library Day! So I did just that - took my daughter to #SHPL! She checked out five board books 📚
I attended a book swap at a local brewery. It was advertised as an adult Scholastic Book Fair. I brought a book to donate and I got to take one home. The drinks were themed and there were a bunch of cute book paper craft items as centerpieces. A fun evening with the book club gals!

My library #SHPL did a #BlindDateWithABook for Valentines Day!
This is the one I checked out from the library. The first two words are what for me to select it - the love of history and the hopes of something nautical by the seashore!

pickFinished this adorable anthology where all the stories took place around Winter Solstice/Yuletide! Even learned a little history about the Indians in Nantucket area and about the female “computers” who cataloged the stars!

Since I love the TV show so much I was expecting this to be similar to an episode. Unfortunately that was not the case. The characters are different in disposition. And the text was more graphic for the sake of shock; a lot of extra detail not needed for the case. I can‘t wait to hear what the others have to say about it.
I started this #audiobook, the second part to Breaking Time. So far getting our bearings in the new story. I‘m hopeful Klara an Callum will meet up again in the same time line!
