It‘s a cool night so I‘m enjoying my hot chocolate and reading. Is there a better way to spend the evening? #reading #coolnight #strangerthings #hotchocolateandbooks

I run so fast the lockers blur. #FirstLineFridays. @ShyBookOwl
Snuggled up with my girl as I finish my book. #bestplaceintheworld I enjoyed the book. It was different than the first two in the series. It was a fun complement to the Netflix show and that made it fun. Also really easy reading. If you like the show you will like the show. #strangerthings #tvshowbooks #babysnuggles
🎃 Runaway Max. More than halfway done. I‘m trying to finish the Stranger Things series this month 🎃 Halloween with friends. Pumpkin carving on Saturday. 🎃 My sister is pregnant with my first nephew and I‘m so grateful! #wondrouswednesday
Some quiet time with my book was a nice way to spend the afternoon. Even if it did lead to an impromptu nap. #strangerthings #readingandnapping #afternoonreading #afternoonnap
Just watched this with my children. I suppose it‘s on point with it being Halloween week and all. That said I hate scary movies so this was TERRIBLE for me. They all loved it though. #halloween #scarystories #horror #booktomovieadaptation #help #save e

How do people read like this?! :) #catreading #strangerthings #sillycats
Watching season 2 today. I absolutely loved these books as a kid and am loving sharing this show with my kids:) #babysittersclub #BSC #familyofreaders
My daughter‘s book box came today! #bookbox #ya #yafantasy #ilovethatmykidsarereaders #familyofbooknerds #familyofreaders
Well I didn‘t finish the book but I did see the movie today. Apparently I managed to get far enough through it that I stopped just after this movie did. The movie was good. Decent enough move to book adaptation. Anyone else see it? What did you think? #dune #dunemovie #dunebook #booktomovie #booktomovieadaptation #classics
Working on this play today with some of my favorite people. I really need to get a copy of the picture book to go with my Christmas books. #christmas #christmasiscoming #christmasbooks
Newest addition to my #TBR pile. My daughter just finished it. We have enjoyed this series together but I have three other books I NEED to finish this month and then I start Christmas reading. But I don‘t want to wait until January. What‘s a girl to do? #villains #motherdaughterbookclub #somanybookssolittletime
Trying to finish this before we see the movie tomorrow. My teenager loved this book and is so excited for the movie!! #dune #classics #scifi #fantasy #dunebook #dunemovie
I‘ve read it before - more than once - but my daughter is reading it at the moment so I figured I would throw on the audiobook while I was in the car. I had forgotten some details that are in the book but not the movie. #harrypotter #potteraday
Little man had a long, tiring, somewhat emotional day. So he‘s resting while I read. ;)
Reading while I wait for my son to get off work. Oh the life of a mom. Read when you can folks! ;) #anytimeisreadingtime
Oh! I want to play!!! 1. it‘s just my name. I know, totally boring, right? 2. I can read anywhere but I mostly read in bed. 3. I loved Go The Distance. So much fun! 4. 6 people in my house plus 3 cats. ;) @Eggs #wondrousWednesday
I enjoyed this book. It pulled at my heartstrings. I rooted for them and I liked the way it ended. But I don‘t know. Something felt off. The main character had high functioning Asperger‘s (yes I know that‘s old terminology but the book is ten years old). Something about him didn‘t feel authentic to me. Maybe I don‘t have enough experience with this type of ASD but it didn‘t sit right with me. #autism #asd #autismawareness
I read this book once before when I was pretty young. Too young to truly understand and feel the weight of it. I‘m only about 2/3 of the way through it now but what strikes me is how we have always feared losing our rights to those in power. How this theme has reoccurred in so many stories. It‘s always there. Waiting to jump out at us and wave the flag and say, “It‘s here right now.” #thatsclassic #dystopian #1984
Apparently she‘s enjoying it so much she read until she fell asleep. It is a really fun series. I haven‘t read the last one yet but I enjoyed the first three. #magicmisfits #bookwormchild #middlegrade #magicbook
I found this incredibly gorgeous lake to sit and read by while my girls were in dance class today. It was a lovely way to spend the afternoon.
It‘s windy and rainy here today. So much so I had to run out in the rain and save my plants that were on the tiered bed when it fell over. Now I think the rest of the day should be spent curled up with my book. What do y‘all think? ;)
This book was interesting. It was fun to look at Snape step by step through the books and through the story. I‘ve always enjoyed his story. So this was interesting. I had been expecting a fan fiction backstory on Snape so this was not what I thought I was getting but it was decent to read. #harrypotter
Never is there a person with more false hope than a mom who brings her book to the beach. #momlife #bookwormmom #beachreading
Hercules has long been a favorite Disney movie in our house. So I was SO EXCITED to have this twisted tale come out. And it did not disappoint. It was dramatically different than the other twisted tales I have read but I really enjoyed what it did with the story. It was so fun. #disney #hercules #twistedtales
My new book is here and my reading buddy is curled up on my chest. I‘m settling in for a nice long read. Who needs sleep, right? #ireadpastmybedtime #nightreading
This sweetie snuggled with me while I finished my book this afternoon. She‘s a good reading companion. The book was very good, a little sad, but very good. It wasn‘t exactly what I was hoping for but it was very good. Loki is a very fun Marvel character and this just adds to his depth. #marvel #loki #thor #thorandloki
Very comfy in my chair right now. I might read. I might nap. Who knows? #nappingwhilereading
My #bookspinbingo list for April @TheAromaofBooks #bookspin Loki is where I‘m starting either way. ;)
This book is not what I was expecting. It‘s sort of interesting but not what I was hoping for. Not even really sure why I‘m continuing to read it. In theory I know I don‘t have to finish it just because I started it and yet I feel compelled to keep reading. #harrypotter #severussnape #potter
I enjoyed this book. It was sweet and heartwarming and just sort of makes you smile the whole way. I definitely found Kahlen to be a likable main character. I could relate to her feelings and found myself wanting her to be happy. Also I now want to visit Port Clyde, Maine.
My daughter says this book is excellent and I really enjoyed the Selection series so I‘m starting it now. #theselection
This was a very fun book. A charming sequel to a really cute book. A sweet teen love story. One that‘s innocent and safe for my twelve year old to read, which is awesome as far as I am concerned. The picture is how I imagine Everafter Beach. #sweet #teenlove #jodipicoult #beach #bookspinbingo This was my #bookspin done for the month @TheAromaofBooks
Why does my family see my like this and think that means it‘s time to talk? #kids #shhhimreading
Finally starting my #bookspinbingo for this month. I haven‘t been updating my account or checking in the last few weeks but I am finally reading this one. @TheAromaofBooks
My mother loved Gone With the Wind. I grew up watching it so often I knew every line. But I never saw the love story in it. I always saw it as sad. This book fixes the things I disliked about Gone With the Wind. Plus half of it takes place in Ireland which makes it a fun read as we approach St. Patrick‘s Day. #ireland #stpatricksday
I actually read this book because of the references in The Eyre Affair. It was really fun to read the original source after finishing that book. The book itself was good, a sweet story, characters that were relatable. I also find it interesting to read novels written in other times. #thatsclassic #janneyre #charlottebronte
Spending a quiet afternoon catching up with my reading. #readingbuddy
I put my board together but I decided to start with Scarlett even though it‘s not one of the #bookspin picks this month. Since March is St. Patrick‘s Day month I want to read Scarlett because of the Irish setting. #stpatricksday #imirish #irish
“Every atom of your flesh is as dear to me as my own: in pain and sickness it would still be dear.” #thatsclassic My #bookspinbingo list for March @TheAromaofBooks #bookspin
I originally read this series as a read aloud with my kids. The original series (The Land of Stories) was a cute children‘s book series and we all enjoyed it. The prequel series is heavier, older, dealing with more real life stuff, and so incredibly profound. I was blown away by how much was dealt with in this book. And so good for my preteen daughter who deals with age appropriate self doubt. #thelandofstories #booksheal
So accurate. We have plans to build another wall bookcase in our bedroom. Until we do my side table is overflowing. The piles are high enough they may pose a hazard. :) #bookwormproblems

Years ago I read the second book in this series. I love the concept of the series. I found the second book confusing (probably because I had missed the first book where they really explained what was happening). I tried this one hoping I would love it. But it was still not my favorite. Sigh. It is my #bookspinbingo read so yay for that.
Her book box came and she immediately sat down and started reading. She will probably read it all today. #bookworm #onceuponabookclub #bookbox
