Hey @andrew65 sorry you are in a slump. I fell that same way. It seems all I want to read are short galleys and I have a ton of book club stuff to get through. So Why don't I make that my goal for #NutsinMay. And Maybe an audiobook or two since I have a lot of yard work and a trip to STL planned.
Happy Reading.
Oh and if you want to watch someone make a fool of themselves to help you get your mojo back, check me out on TicTok.
As you can see, I‘ve been #ReadingRomance all month long, and it‘s been a blast! I put aside all my other annual goals to just read whatever lovey/cutesy/smutty books that come along and peak my interest. A few of these fall more into women‘s fiction than romance, but all in all it‘s been a very 😍♥️😱😅reading month! #mymonthsofar #february2021
"I loved that the cookbook had grease stains and chocolate speckles throughout. I loved that someone a hundred years ago sat by a fire and shelled walnuts. In much the same way a quilt could tell a story, so could a #recipe. You could approach an old recipe like a detective and whittle out clues about the people who had written it.”

It's safe to say that Alice Clayton is one of my favorite contemporary romance authors currently. Her books are laugh out loud funny. Steamy in all the best places. Loved the Wallbanger series as well.
I have an appt to give blood this afternoon so no morning workout. Enjoy coffee and Bailey snuggles. ❤️
Monday cure. ❤️
Needing a mini break from the #luminariesbuddyread. I only have thirty more pages until I'm caught up. Will return in the morning.
I‘ve owned this book for quite awhile, but talking books with my sister bumped it to the top of the TBR pile. #amreading
3.5 🌟 It was ok. There was an excess of food descriptions.. and some decent chemistry in the last 1/4 of the book. The narrator did a very good job, probably the main reason I kept listening to the book.

This book is making me an Alice Clayton convert. It includes a deliciously comical scene in which the heroine describes her meet-cute in list form. As an enthusiast of lists, I was charmed. #romantsy #therippedbodicebingo
After a disastrous book, I need some Alice Clayton in my life.
I was wearing a t-shirt and shorts yesterday. 😒
#bookishresolutions This is the first year that I'm doing any challenges besides my Goodreads goal. I'm excited and hopefully won't be overwhelmed. I have made lists to guide me so that should help! 😎

Kindling tonight in a last-ditch effort to hit my Goodreads goal of 30 books read for 2016. This will be # 30 and should be easy to finish by the end of the week if i enjoy it as much as I enjoyed Wallbanger. Not bad for a year with such a heavy grad school load!
Stunned that anyone thought this title was a selling point for a sweet and slightly steamy romance combining food and flirting.
My bookstore bounty from Thursday at Water Street Bookstore and Friday at Oblong Books & Music. Back to WSB tomorrow for Bonnie Jo Campbell's event because she is AMAZING. 🤘🏻📚💕
Sad to be missing the Boston Book Festival today, but my health demands it. 😢 But at least I have jammies and cats and fun books to read. And my Littens close at hand. 💕📚🤘🏻
This book was HILARIOUS. Awesome first person narration (see also: How Not to Fall by Emily Foster) and SO MUCH FOOD PORN. Totally the rom-com-in-book-form I've been craving.
Nuts! I've barely read a thing lately. I know I'll devour this in a jiffy though
Funny, heartwarming and steamy--I enjoyed it as an easy, uncomplicated read. Not as much of a standout as Wallbanger, but fun nonetheless. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Busiest time of the year for me at work and I need a light, funny, escapist book to take me away! 😄❤️📖
I loved this book! Clayton writes such humorous, lovable characters, and this was a great beginning to a new series! Can't wait to read the second book!
