I made my first #20in4 Readathon goal - finishing this book!
It was a unique story, a funny adventure, and has a Save the Whales message. Loved the chapter titles. Nice way to kick off the summer.
🐋🐋🐋🐋
My next goal was to read Saddle Up for Murder. I‘m switching books, and I won‘t finish it in a day, but I‘m planning lots of reading breaks.
I hope your challenge is going well @Andrew65

#MarvellousMay update time!
🐋 I‘m still reading and loving Fluke, which means I didn‘t meet my first goal, to finish before seeing Christopher Moore tonight. I‘m on p. 173/321. My new goal is to finish by Sunday.
🐿 The author was hilarious, and it felt good to laugh with a group of people again. Can‘t wait to read Razzmatazz!
📸 The event description said No posed photos, so hopefully this doesn‘t go viral. 😂
🐳 Thanks again @Andrew65 !
🐋 I‘ll see Christopher Moore tomorrow!
🐳 It‘s a physical book; I don‘t ebook.
🐋 Halfway through it‘s ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🐳 I use page flags for all the good quotes, dog names, and mentions of Flagstaff, Arizona (none so far in this book).
👈 Thank you for the tag @Enchanted_Bibliophile !
👍 Thanks for asking @MoonWitch94 !

I may have failed at hitting my #SuperSeptember goal of finishing Fluke or Into the Drowning Deep but I did get this one finished today and I'm a good way through the other one plus almost done Imaginary Friend as well. I have zero self control when it comes to starting books 🤷♀️
I enjoyed this. It was weird as hell but pretty interesting. And I learned a LOT about whales. Some would say too much 😏
@Andrew65
Well, I didn't meet my goal for #SuperSeptember but I did get caught up in a whole lot of fabulousness with Canada's Drag Race so I'm not mad about it.
I did make a good amount of progress with both books I was reading and I'm almost done with the tagged book so I'm calling it a win for the weekend!

So far this is a million miles away from Squirrels but it's interesting to get more of Quinn's story. Plus....I'm learning a whole LOT about whales that I never needed to know 😂😂

So...my bookclub friend told me this was her favorite Christopher Moore book ever. I thought it had to be pretty darn good to be better than Lamb. And...it wasn't. It was so cray cray. A very imaginative storyline with some fun and the usual overabundance of unnecessary penises. 3 of 5 stars.
Re-reading my favorite Christopher Moore novel.💙🐳🌊
Chinese food and this great book.
This book has the best chapter titles 😂
This is what makes Monday awesome instead of blah! #bookmail #jbmail #jbbookswap
Finally got my signed special edition of Lamb and signed copy of Fluke, both by Christopher Moore.
And look at all the lovely #jb mail! ❤️ Thank you @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @tracey38 @knittedgnome @CoffeeNBooks and my mystery #jb book swap person (there‘s an address but no name on the outside) - I can‘t wait to open it! 😀
After trying Moore's Sacre Bleu many years back, and having it not work for me, I avoided starting anymore of his books. That was clearly a mistake that I am happy to have rectified. This is now the third book of Moore's that I've loved. This was fun and I love his smart ass sense of humour. I will keep going with Moore's novels. I've been loving them on audio and I think I will keep with this format. 3.5🌟 #44of2018
Loved this! Moore never disappoints. The added bonus is that I know a lot more about whales now... and some might actually be true! 🤘🏽🐋🐳
Boo the Yorkie: It's no fluke I look this good! Mommy is reading this novel. She's having a whale of a time! 10/10.

I so wanted to like this book. There were some witty bits that I enjoyed, but on the whole I found it slow and kind of boring. I was kind of relieved to be done with it.
Fluke or, I Know Why the Winged Whale Sings #longtitle #octophotochallenge #booktober. This book was so funny and incredibly stupid. I love Christopher Moore's older books and this one was definitely entertaining. The first time I read the title I definitely had one of those WTF moments.
I had no clue what I was in for!!! I am still wondering what I just read...it was fun and entertaining, but the scope of weirdness was huge! A very different, but enjoyable book.
This book is funny so far...and it makes me think Joanna Gaines would like Hawaii 😄
Here's my #recommendsday! Christopher Moore's Fluke is a hilarious, absurd novel about marine biologists and some other-worldly whales. This book is crazy, but amazing and laugh-out-loud funny. It's one of those books that when you hear the plot, you can't imagine liking it.....but you will.😂🐋
Funny and strange, just the way I like it. Not as good as Lamb though.
...an amazing thing to experience first hand...magic.
