Day 1: #shelfie #riotgrams I DO love books...I promise! Let me explain this sham of a bookshelf. We recently moved to a new house, and much of our furniture was given by family . The only new furniture I absolutely wanted was new bookshelves ... still looking/saving for them! And all my other books that I haven't bought/read in the last weeks are in boxes (sad and shameful, fellow book nerds, I know!). I'm using this shelf in my closet for now. 😔

I love reading and my sister enjoys it too, when she's able to find the time. It saddens us both that her daughter (my niece) doesn't enjoy it like we do. However, there may be hope with my step-grand-daughter, who signed the Christmas card to me from her and her mom like this.

Not as high as I have had it, but then again it's been a busy year. I'd like to get twice this by this time next year!
