December/winter themed #bookspin board. Includes my #LMPBC book in slot 16, books I have hanging around with “winter” in the title, a #wintergames #teamgamesleighers team read in slot 8, a Pearl Harbor book in slot 7, and a variety of books to get off my TBR.

PageShifter I wish you happy reading 🤗 2y

Today, I‘m sharing my TBR for December and my bingo board for #unreadbookbingo because I‘m participating in this until the end of the year. I‘m not sure how much reading I will do this month so I‘m not adding on any more books unless I decide to read more.

I‘m in! I‘m going to work on wrapping up the 10ish I need to meet my goodreads goal for 2020. Thanks for hosting @TheSpineView #ReadYourWay

TheSpineView Your welcome and glad to have you!❤ 3y
Alora I need about 10-12 more too. But considering I‘ve only read about 12 books so far this year....it would be a miracle LOL. I read slow. About a book a month. One every two weeks if I‘m in a reading mood. 3y

Here is my #bookspin bingo list for December and part two of my #wintergames2020 TBR. A majority of these are books coming from the library (I really need to up my collection of holiday books) and I‘m going to endeavor to read as many as I can. I‘m leaving spots 21-25 open since my other bingo boards seem to be working better that way. @TheAromaofBooks @Clwojick #merryreaders

December wrap up. 17 total, 8 audio and 9 print. Some heavy fiction and non fiction mixed in with some graphic novels and middle grade books. White Bird was my favorite. Imaginary Friend was probably my least favorite.

perfectsinner The Immortal Life is so good. I read that one years ago. I've kept it in my collection to re-read. The President is Missing is also a good one. I've heard such mixed things about Imaginary Friend that it's still on my want-to-reads list, but much, much farther down.. and if I don't get to it, ever, I think I'll be ok with it. Happy 2020 reading! 4y
Reviewsbylola Great month. I loved Henrietta so much! 4y
perfectsinner Also how did you get all your books to fit into Litsy's little picture format?!? I only had 5 books on mine and I can't get it to not get cropped out. I don't understand posting pictures on this app 😢 4y

MelissaSue81 @perfectsinner - I do a screenshot from good reads (have to switch it to the desktop version) and then I take that and use PicCollage to put it into a square format (hence the blue background) 4y
MelissaSue81 @perfectsinner - or, the desktop version or Litsy (not sure if it works on phones) lets you post non square photos without cropping. 4y
perfectsinner @MelissaSue81 oh. That makes sense, then. I've never used Litsy except on mobile! I will have to give that a try. I hope it wasn't a dumb question. Thanks for the response! 4y

It‘s been a great reading year. 135 books, few DNFs and lots of laughs and comfort.

I hope your 2019 reading went well too.

Took a minute to write out my December #TBR. I‘ve vowed to read at least the first Harry Potter before the end of the year since I never have. 20 years behind everyone else.
Also, There are 10 books here, so I need 9 more besides these to reach my 200 book goal. Any great suggestion for fast and/or short reads? Especially audiobooks, because these are mostly print so I need to fill up my audio queue.

naylormatthew Elanor oliphant is on audio 5y
naylormatthew If you haven't read it already. Also the knife of never letting go. If you want a quick read, then I recommend one day in the life of Ivan denisovich. Or heart of darkness by conrad. 5y
MelissaSue81 @naylormatthew - thanks! I will check those out. I‘ve read Eleanor Oliphant, but not the rest 5y

naylormatthew Knife... isn't short but quicker than the size of the book would suggest. 5y
whatsthEStorey This one is a little over three hours on audio. I can't vouch for it as I haven't read it, but it's on my list for the month! 5y
MelissaSue81 @whatsthEStorey - thanks! Just borrowed it! I almost think I read it in college, but it doesn‘t count if I don‘t remember! 5y
RainyDayReading Could read the Wayward Children series by Seanan McGuire. There‘s three books out now and they‘re all I‘d say around 230-ish pages. Pretty short and easy to get through. I‘ve loved them all! The first is Every Heart A Doorway, the second is Down Among the Sticks and Bones and the last is Beneath the Sugar Sky. 5y
