Always amazing how much you can learn and feel from poetry. A few words on a page used the right way can teach and express so much.

"Let America be America Again" by Langston Hughes still rings true in 2020. I can't read this poem aloud to students without crying. It's achingly beautiful.

2. I have, I would not be able to tell you the name of the book nor author, it was many years ago. All I remember is the premise of the book.

Langston Hughes was an outstanding poet. His life story is just as interesting as the work he produced. I take inspiration from this poem, and it is one of only a small handful I can recite by heart. Don't forget, Thursday is #WorldPoetryDay - Many people who didn't like poetry in school find it was the way it was taught and not poetry that they disliked to begin with. ☺

I saw @OrangeMooseReads took this buzzfeed quiz and I had to try! The classic author who is my soulmate is Langston Hughes and I think it‘s safe to say I got the best possible result 😍 picture cut off at the bottom... I had no idea he was so handsome??
