I've been browsing for something different than my recent reads. This pretty cover grabbed my attention as soon as I saw it.

Amy stumbles into a family secret when she and her mom visit their relatives: they have the ability to step into the world of books! I found this book enjoyable, but highly predictable in many ways. I don't feel like predictability is a bad thing. It's like you and the author are in cahoots about what would make a fun story! I did enjoy the book jumping mechanic, but some things like the romance felt a little hollow. #BookMagic #Magic #Fantasy
Published prior to The Bookwanderers, there were quite a few similarities. I thought I saw this book was middle grade, but I now see it‘s listed as YA. There is a love scene that I think a middle grade reader wouldn‘t realize. Any reader would enjoy jumping into books with Amy and the other Book Jumpers.

I loved this book about book jumpers, who can jump into stories, and are tasked with protecting the characters in the stories and their storylines. When someone starts stealing ideas from stories, it ruins the stories and the book jumpers have to figure out who the culprit is so they can stop them and restore the stories. This was a really unique story, and I'd never read anything like it before.

These are my #5starreads2020 so far. I have more than I thought I did, but the first 3 are rereads. @Chrissyreadit I still have more reading in December, so hopefully I‘ll end up with another one.
Just finished reading this fun fantasy! I learned about it from my fellow Littens so thank you. 😄 Must admit that I, like others, was intrigued by the cover and the plot line. Thought it was pretty well developed on the whole, but in my opinion the climax/main villain could have been fleshed out a bit more.
This was a #blameitonlitsy read because I loved the cover & premise. A story that is every book lover‘s fantasy—to be able to go into actual stories & meet characters. The MC discovers she is a book jumper after she & her mother return to her clan‘s island. Then, she discovers that a thief is taking ideas from other stories, & she has to find out who & how to return them. A mystery, fantasy, YA love story, & adventure. My fave story referenced 👇
I‘m very excited about the books & headband that @BeaG sent me for #septemberswap. My bookstore hasn‘t had either of these books, & both will be good Fall/Halloween reads. The headband is so comfortable! I have a hard time finding a headband that fits well. Thank you!!!

Curbside library book! I saw this one last year and I liked the cover so much so I got it today...cuz the cover is cute...anybody else do that? I don‘t normally...
My #top6reads for 2020 so far! My most favorite has been the tagged book. I‘m honestly disappointed in my reading so far this year. As I was reviewing my list, it was easy to pick out my top six because I don‘t feel I‘ve read many books this year that I‘ve loved. Here‘s hoping the rest of the year will be better.
What a wonderful book. Which one of us wouldn‘t love to jump into our books and meet the characters? I really feel this was a well thought out, entertaining book.
A lovely start to a bookish series. When Amy's mother takes her back to the Irish town her family is from, she discovers that the small community are Book Jumpers- they can jump into books. Amy can too- but her powers are new and stronger than anyone expected. And there's someone stalking through books, stealing plots from them. Can Amy help find the villain, or will all our favorite books lose the plot? Really liked this one!
I really enjoyed reading this book! This is about book jumpers, who can jump into stories, and are tasked with protecting the stories. When someone starts stealing ideas from stories, thus ruining the stories, they have to figure out who it is so they can stop them.
I'm enjoying this a lot! Wish I could be a book jumper.
Sent out my #lmpbc book back to @Samreamer today. Thanks so much everyone for a fantastic group of books. I loved reading them with you all.
I also sent out my #litsylove #winterswap package
Forgot to take a picture, so here‘s my cat sleeping in the stuffed animal hammock...
All the book stacks after getting back from vacation. My parents sent me home with a few old favourites, I scored big at a library sale, and I came home to a lovely amount of #bookmail
@OriginalCyn620 I‘ll get started on our #LMPBC book soon.
Thank you everyone that sent me #LitsyLove in the last week, I‘ll be working on replies in a couple days.

I enjoyed this book about books! The author built an enchanting fantasy world that included both a mystery and a little romance. @HufflepuffGirl90 I‘ll mail this out to you to tomorrow!

One of the reasons I actually bought this physical books was the beautiful cover!
Thanks @ValerieAndBooks for tagging me to play!
Probably written for younger audiences than myself, but I can‘t pass up a good book about books (I feel like I‘ve mentioned this obsession before). It was so creative, and I found myself guessing which books all the characters were from. Look out, #LMPBC group C— this is coming atcha!
Finally got my book in! Ready for our reading group with my green pen and pencil! #thebookjumper #LMPBC #GroupC
One of my very few DNFs this year. I stalled half way through, and just could not motivate myself to want to know how it ended. I still think the book jacket design is one of the most exquisite I‘ve ever seen.
Found myself in another book slump...been slacking on litsy and I miss it. So I picked this one up on recommendation to try to jump back in the game. #overtheslump
Entertaining and a fast read. Amy & her mother leave their home and their troubles in Germany, and travel to Amy‘s ancestral home, of which she knows nothing. She learns that she has the ability to jump into books and discovers the literary world in chaos. She and her new friend Will work together with book characters to try to save the books they‘ve sworn to protect. Such an intriguing concept, and a page turner. Continued ⬇️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Lazy Rainy Sunday; Level: Expert. 😉📚Close to finishing this one!
I‘m enjoying this read! Thought I‘d take it outside since the rest of the family is in the midst of Marvel Mania with a movie marathon on FX. 😉 📚❤️
Finally sitting down today, after hosting Easter Dinner for 17. Loved spending the day with family, whom I am lucky enough to also call friends. ❤️ Clean up is finished, and I‘m going to enjoy one more glass of wine and my book before I crash. This book is good so far...I‘m not very far into it. Such an intriguing concept. If I could have a superpower... 😉📚
Starting this tonight. Meeting with my book club Monday evening, and we are supposed to have the first 6 chapters (121 pages) read. I haven‘t had a chance to start it. Work has been so busy (I had to work today and will tomorrow too), and we are hosting Easter dinner for 19 so my weekend is booked. 😳 I always meet the goal for book club. I am not going to miss this one. It will all get done somehow! 🤨👍🏻📚
Yup more new books 😱
Congratulations for reaching another one of your milestones! Thank you for the opportunity to win not only one, but 3 books! If I win I‘d be glad to have The Night Circus and The Book Jumper.

I love the first half of this book. I thought it was creative and I was interested in the story. The last part of the book became unorganized and just weird. I wanted to love the book, and I love the idea if story about a family who has the ability to jump into books and meet some favorite fictional characters. The story just was not executed well.
Love this quote. This is exactly how I feel anytime I travel!
Preparing for a weekend full of reading and not leaving the house because of snow and frigid temperatures. Picked up a few books at the library, and I borrowed The Book Jumper based only on the cover. Happy Friday everyone! 💜
