⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️There is a reason I make myself wait 2 years before I reread these books. Because this is my 4th time reading this & I still cried & cried (& cried) through so many heart-breaking & breath-taking moments. Last time I read this one I remember finding it a bit tedious, but I didn‘t feel that way this time. Excellent wrap up to the first section of this story.
Ps.It‘s honestly shocking how many Suriel things there are in my house 🥰💀

Book 3 in the #ACOTAR series is just as good as the second one. I had a very hard time putting this down. I would highly recommend this series!

Feyre‘s trying to keep her promise to the Suriel and trying to make the world a better place. I‘m looking forward to the next book and more adventures with our friends - here‘s hoping my emotions can take it! I will post a reading schedule for Book 4 shortly.💕

Rhys…giving everything- so like him. Such a great character. And Tamlin finally moving on - redemption there I think. We‘ll finish the book tomorrow since there‘s not much left.

So many unexpected things happened. The battle, the twists, and the character growth! I highly enjoyed it! And yes, I like Nesta now. I can't wait to read her book.

Or does she have her own motivations at this point? I was shocked but maybe I shouldn‘t have been. We can‘t forget that Amren is not like the others and never has been. Also, I‘m kinda loving Nesta now - it has come full circle and I want to see her story with Cassian. ⬇️

I couldn‘t take it anymore and I had to finish! I can‘t say too much because I read this with the #LittensLoveRomance group, but like the previous books in the series, this one is also an emotional roller coaster. The author has a great talent for writing tension and twists!

The battle - Hybern - still feels like a foe they cannot conquer. That cauldron is brutal. They have to defeat it first. But it might fall to Feyre and Amren alone. ⬇️

Could the rest of the Inner Circle? I hope Feyre‘s excursion to get the bone carver pays off. I wonder at what all she saw in the mirror? I hope her monsters really tear into the Hybern army. And hopefully this time when she disappeared- she left a note.

I was surprised - as a know-it-all high priestess - that she didn‘t know where she was or the danger the Weaver‘s cottage posed. But I‘m not sorry she gone. I was sad for The Suriel - a dreamer as well. A lonely dreamer who sacrificed to make the world better. Poor Feyre. ⬇️

Seeing the battle going poorly causes Feyre to look for the Suriel once more so she can get answers. And without even offering it anything in return, the Suriel is very helpful. It must respect Feyre because we learn it wasn‘t so forthcoming with Ianthe. But now it may pay with its life. ⬇️

Those battle scenes are tense! I think Feyre‘s right though, they need to learn Hybern‘s true plans. Maybe bothering the Suriel yet again is the right move. Hope it‘s not tempting fate.

But is he playing everyone? I‘m glad Lucien was away and didn‘t have to witness Elain‘s reunion with Grayson. Even though it‘s full of tension, she clearly still cares for him. Their marriage wouldn‘t have worked even when she was human. Now it‘s just impossible.

I mean - I thought we told her to be careful of bargains. girl‘s addicted to tattoos I guess. It‘s probably a smart thing though - to find ways to beat Hybern who has the bigger army. At least she told Rhys about it right away. ⬇️

Haha, and Rhys is all like “Nah, it‘s cool babe. We‘re fine.” Meanwhile he‘s wincing and recalculating. All these High Lords are so used to being the all mighty powerful beings. It must be hard that a female took their power - so soon after Amarantha did.⬇️

Stupid Tamlin - I really hope he gets what‘s coming to him. I don‘t think he‘s trustworthy at all. Hybern still has him in his grip. And I wouldn‘t touch his info with a 50 yard pole. ⬇️

It‘s about time for the other courts to know how good they are - especially Rhys. But they‘ve worn masks for so long, I doubt anyone will believe them now. I‘m very interested to see what will happen, especially with Nesta going.

Once again, Feyre and Rhys don‘t get the respect they deserve. But they‘ve come to expect that. I feel for Tarquin. He‘s a leader in a tough position. ⬇️

Meanwhile Lucien has his own quest to find the 6th mortal queen. Things are getting tense!

Feyre really needs to stop making bargains 🙄😆. Rhys was like exasperated with her. I knew all that babbling Elaine was sprouting was foreseeing the future. Now they just have to interpret what she sees. Which may be tricky.

Nesta though - she still needs a swift kick in the behind - I get that she went through something in the cauldron. And I get that she is just worried for Elaine - as always. But I Wish she could show an ounce of that affection and concern for Feyre once in a while. Feyre works so hard, gives so much. It should be appreciated by her sisters for once.

Wouldn‘t it be simpler to just kill Keir and put someone else in charge of his army? ⬇️

And may even be afraid of Nesta. Now there is a new quest - to get that special mirror. Easier said than done I‘d imagine.

But I do think they‘ll need both the sisters‘ new powers to defeat Hybern. It‘ll be all hands on deck. So how to convince them? ⬇️

Now for Feyre to regain her powers and see how her sisters are doing. It won‘t be easy with them, I worry. But at least Feyre is home and can be herself a bit. Won‘t Lucien be surprised?

Spring has finally arrived. It has warmed up outside and I can read outside (my favourite reading place). I am becoming obsessed with acotar. Already ordered some acotar merch on line. Now I finally understand the popularity of these books.

Is it just the distance or is something else going on?

I blasted through ACOMAF and I‘m rereading it while #littensloveacotar continues the 3 chapters a day buddy read but I‘m weak and have started ACOWAR

This book took longer than the second one for me to get into but by the second half I was completely hooked. The ending was a whirlwind of emotions and very intense - so much so that at parts I could feel myself holding my breath. Well 1 chapter a day on book two went out the window! It was more like 7 chapters a day! I have already finished it and I‘m on to Book 3! Couldn‘t even wait to go get the physical book, had to start the audiobook 🤣This series has me hooked and I feel like I‘m a character in it!!

I hate the word “mate” more than I can possibly express.

But otherwise, really enjoyed this third book of the journey.

And, Cauldron save me, I think Nesta is officially my favorite.

I found this my favourite in the series so far. There was excellent character development, good plot and a happy ending
