I enjoyed this book a lot especially since it was read by Sofia Carson who played Evie in the Descendants movies. I was pleasantly surprised that there was prequel to the very first movie, but I loved listening to how these four have become friends.

Finally decided to start this. #librarybook #audiobook

So glad I finally read this! Just need to follow the book and movie order and the whole story will continue to be awesome and make sense!

I liked getting some backstory to the movies, but some parts of the book didn't seem to match the movies. It was close enough, but little details just didn't align. The book was a fast read and was enjoyable. I do plan to read the other Descendants novels because I did like this one.

Tonight my girls and I will start our adventures with the Descendants! We have watched all the movies, now it‘s time for the books! 🤗🤓📚

Over the years, I‘ve been given loads of advice about books. However, one of the best bits is from my mom: “Don‘t look down on any genre of fiction if you haven‘t read it. You could find your next favorite in a genre you never read.” And that‘s why I‘m now reading a book meant for 5-6th graders 😂😂

I have had a really craptastic day and the rest of the week doesn't seem like its gunna get any better. When it rains, it pours..... on me apparently. Just going to drown it all out for tonight with some much needed reading. I will not fall asleep!!!!!!!

Hey there my #NWC family! How is everything going? Have you started the book yet? How are you liking it? Just wanting to see where we all are.

My local library has the graphic novel so I thought I‘d check it out since it‘s the #NWC #NovelWatchingCrew read for this month. I don‘t usually do graphic novels but thought I‘d see if it can kick me out of my reading slump. I also got the regular novel too. (And I thought about the audio since those are the only books I can seem to finish lately.

It's been a long night. Just getting to reading now. Want tonight over with.... found out my 22 yr old nephew (by marriage) was found dead this morning. 😥😔😥😔 hug ur kids and always tell them that u love them.

I about died. This must mean Disney had already put Dove Cameron in the role before Isle of the Lost was written.

I love the movies, but for some reason I'm struggling with this book. Granted I havent read much and have been sick, but I thought I would be like "I just cant get enough!" With that being said, I'm diving back in to get some more done. I really hope i can get this book and Moon Called done by the end of the month!

Can definitely tell I've seen the movies.... in my head, I'm reading it in Dove Cameron's voice. Haha!!

Feeling alittle more human after the past couple of days feeling like death. Now I can get some reading done. I'm very upset at myself becuz over like the 3 days of being sick, I've read maybe like 3 or 4 pages. 😔 I'm so far behind. I need to get these 2 books done by the end of the month!!

So I liked it. I did the audio book version of it and the reader was so good. I really enjoyed hearing her.

I was trying to watch it but it isn‘t on my “Hulu” so I might have to rent it from amazon possibly. (But I‘m trying a no-spend thing this month so... I don‘t know yet, might have to wait till October)
