1. For some reason, I can always tell where north is without any app, North Star, whatever. I just instinctively know--no matter what city, either. I have no idea why.
2. Tagged: THE TIME TRAVELER'S WIFE.
Play? @AmyG @TheBookHippie @PageShifter
Yes, I've met Audrey Niffenegger and Nicholas Sparks both at their book signings. Same with The Pioneer Woman, though she's not really in the same category of author. I have pictures somewhere, but they're not on my phone so can't share. #SUNDAYFUNDAY @BookmarkTavern
Now that I think of it, he does seem like a strange one thinking of plots like this! :)
“All my pleasures are homey ones: armchair splendour, the sedate excitements of domesticity. All I ask for are humble delights”
Awesome cozy October read 🍁🍂
Oh no! I read this book years ago. On my recent flight home it was almost my first ever binge but j missed the last 20.minutes when we started landing.
While I knew it was only 6 episodes, I didn't know it had been cancelled! Now I have just caught up only to realise it's been left hanging .......
I think the main problem with The Time Traveler‘s Wife is exactly what I predicted: I love the film. It‘s like I looked for problems while reading the book because it couldn‘t possibly be as good as the movie. The story is just so much smoother on screen and those tone shifts are evened out, and as a result, the impact is far greater and more devastating. Wonderful, wholesome, bitter-sweet romance.. Finally felt the satisfaction of a good book after 2 months this year
#romance #goodread #bittersweet
When I first read this book almost 20 years ago, I remember being fascinated by time travel. Now the storyline feels much more shallow and bothersome. Henry is often a creep. Perhaps he had limited options, but I didn‘t find him to be a sympathetic figure. I‘m glad I re-read it though.
Finished this reread at 2am this morning... even on second read I couldn't put it down- I was, again, sucked into Henry and Clare's gorgeous love story. I can't wait to discuss this with my Senior Book Club in school. I have read some pretty scathing reviews of this ... and I can see that some of it is potentially problematic...Etta and Kimy? Grooming? Any thoughts? ✨️❤️📚

This book was recommended to me by a fellow reader and I have to tell you I‘m salty that I didn‘t pick it up sooner! This is such an amazing story. All the feels. I truly enjoyed this one and now I‘m left with a book hangover. I oddly love that! #bookrecommendation #springread #mayreadlinglist

The whatever's subservient female relation whose own story is meaningless without the guy's existence.
I am so tired of these book titles (and the basic premise of most of them). Stop recommending these to me. Authors, do better.
Happy snow day!! I absolutely love a cup of coffee and a book on snowy winter mornings!

1. I would want to go back in time. I'd want to go back and see 60s, 70s and 80s rock/hair metal bands when they were at their peak. I'd want to go to Woodstock and Live aid.
2. I cheated and watched the movie first but I loved this book.
@TheSpineView
1. I would go back. I have several genealogy problems I‘d like to unravel!
2. I agree with @TheSpineView on the tagged book being the time travel book I would recommend.

My rdg grp's bk this month × I struggled with the story which was a must read some 20 yrs ago. Henry + Claire meet when 30 yrs separate them but again later when the gap is only 8. Henry's genes mean he time travels mtg himself and his wife repeatedly thru time. I'm afraid I struggled with the love story at the heart + while some nice bits felt at times the relationship was too weird and creepy. Not a hit maybe I shd have rd it back in the day 👇
*unpopular opinion* It was supposed to be a romantic novel with a great love story .But I couldn‘t connect to it. Story line is good but too much of time travel, too many details ( most of which are annoying to read ! ) . May be the writing style was not for me.3⭐️
