Thank you so much @tdrosebud I love my package! I have been wanting to read the tagged book and it‘s perfect for Christmas! 🎄
So glad I picked this as my first seasonal themed book this year. Such a cute read. Highly recommended. #60-2023
A book that checks off all the requirements of a cozy Christmas read. A heartfelt, seasonal tale, Nora and Simon run an Indie bookstore in the Cotswalds, a store that might have to close due to the lack of customers in this modern, Amazon world. They decide to hold a contest and send out six books to lonely people in their town. Can giving away these books transform their village? Read and see.

I started two stories; one is the tagged one (our team's buddy read), and the other is one I haven't read in a long time (see pic above). Feeling cozy already! 😃

“Nora Walden's eyes drifted from the spreadsheet in front of her to the stack of stocking fillers on the counter--a spotter's guide to local birds, a little gift book of the world's ugliest Christmas sweaters and a reindeer-shaped board book with a squashy red nose.“
No wonder I named my group the #UglySweaterSquad (#USS) for #WinterGames! 😍
⭐️⭐️⭐️
A cute little novel about a failing bookshop in the Cotswolds, the owners of which send out six books to cheer up strangers for the holidays. This act of kindness ends up changing quite a few lives and making Christmas merrier than expected. Rounding up to a pick.

Christmas in September? Yes, for an assignment. And I'll happily take holiday recs from you all! I need a couple more books for the job.
Another of the too-many-holiday books started that I‘m so glad I finished. I‘m a sucker for communities that come together. Books about books don‘t always do it for me, but this one did. And set in a cute British village? Holiday perfection. I may or may not have cried oceans of good tears through the last 40 pages…
Time to get our Jolabokaflod on! All set with warm beverages, chocolate, books, and mood lighting. Happy holidays to all. Wishes for a peace and love-filled holiday!
Started in on this lovely new Christmas book and I'm finding it to be a charming, cosy read. I'm only 80 pages in but wanting to savor. 🎄 📚 🔥 ☕
Haven't done these in a while! @TheSpineView #Two4Tuesday
1. I don't usually, because no one outside of my book groups ever gifts me with any. 📚
2. Yes, I'm doing the 24 Books of Christmas for my daughter as usual, and I usually find several books throughout the year that would be perfect for that certain person. 🎁

📖 Only in the swaps I‘m participating, I wrote three books titles, as instructions indicated in the form, to maybe receive one of them. Any book from my tbr will be very well received during the swaps open date🤗I don‘t usually received books as gifts. Besides books receive in swaps, I buy my books during this season
📖📖Only to my swap match
Thank you @TheViewSpine for the tag
My favourite book of December; am thinking of maybe buying a copy so I can read it again and mark it up #12booksof2021
God I loved this story!!! It made me want to move to the Cotswolds! The main characters were wonderful and I even loved all the secondary characters around the village (including the slightly annoying town drunk). I will say it felt at times like a sequel to another book, almost as if we should have already known about some key points before, but as far as I can see this is a standalone. Perfect way to close out my Christmas reading! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Yes I‘m reading it after Christmas but… I saw it didn‘t but it before Christmas then couldn‘t find it the other day was in the target and saw it and it was the last one so I grabbed it.. just about halfway threw and so far I love it
Great way to finish the holiday weekend. This was the most charming, sweet, wholesome story. A bookstore in a small English town may not make it past the New Year but they still send out 6 books in a random acts of kindness gesture to people struggling this holiday. And we see how books and community can help heal hearts and loves. I just loved this book.
Want to also tell you all that this is the sweetest, most charming Christmas book. I am about halfway through so far but... wow. True mea ing of how powerful books are and how they can truly change lives. And set during Christmas. 🎄 And the cover is just so cozy and lovely.
#ThisWeekinNewBooks : This week‘s report includes Christmas presents! (We exchanged with my family early because my nephew is coming home and he‘s not vaccinated. So no get togethers with him. ) Four books from my sister, the cookbook from my SIL (she actually visited The Merchantile in the summer!), a kindle bargain , and the tagged book was a present from me to me.

I am a chef (The Holiday Swap) spending the holidays in a small town (Christmas by the Book) where I find love. (A Timeless Christmas) #CYOHolidayAdventure2021 is now complete. #averymerryreadathon #LittenListen
I can not sing this book enough praises. It is one of the most heart warming books I have ever read. It shows the power of reading the right book at the right time. Anyone who loves books will love this book about an independent bookstore and how it shapes a community and brings people together. I will be keeping this book and rereading it every year. Ok look guys…today‘s #festivephotochallenge prompt is cold night in. I live in Central Florida. It is currently a muggy 70 degrees at 9:30 am. I was sweating when I went for a walk yesterday. I don‘t see me having a cold night in any time soon 🤨. So, instead, I‘m imagining this little puppers having a cold night in and living vicariously through him! #wintergames2021

This book was charming little read for the Christmas season. Family, colorful neighbors, and a lovely old bookstore are the center of this story about love and the power of books to connect people. 🎄📚
