A perfect mix of fall and winter. It was only 0degrees out this morning, so I decided to still walk to work. I‘m going to miss starting off my days with a 45 minute walk. #TeamSlaughter

Our first major snow in Michigan would have been a great excuse to stay in, but book errands call. Package for #wintersolsticebookexchange was sent out ✔️. Library holds picked up ✔️. Bookstore purchase made for the next book the partner and I are reading together ✔️

I haven't been on Litsy all week. It's that time of year when I find it very difficult to be social, even online. Being social at work drains me so much that when I get home, all I want to do is crawl into bed with my books.
Thank goodness going to the library doesn't require talking to anyone. ? I made a book advent calendar for my kids with all "new" books. The kids love that they get to open a book every night. ???
Here it is! The first blizzard has powdered the countryside with white and more white. And, of course, #Coale has to watch all the woodland creatures run about hither and thither. View from our bedroom reading chair. And it has to be today that we must drive almost 100 miles to a wedding 🙄. Should be interesting.
