(If I can't use the same photo for 2 separate challenges, I'll change the book for yesterday as I can't find another with a cobweb on the front).
One of my favourite series!
The first 20 or so books in the series are all set on black backgrounds. Wish they hadn't changed it partway through.

Book 8 in the series and one of my faves so far. Eve has some professional struggles in this one and has to deal with being the target of a beat cop‘s jealousy and anger.

I enjoyed this one. The narration was better, or at least I'm getting used to the reader. This will probably be my last one on audio since my scribd sub ends tomorrow. Unless I cave and re-up. 🤷♀️
Book 16/20 #crushtherush - i think I'm going to try to make the 20 my November goal then reset for December. @Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick

Dallas & Peabody investigate when dead bodies turn up minus certain body parts; heart, kidneys, etc. The perp seems to have high connections, as Dallas is taken off the case & put under investigation.
This was not my favourite book in the series, evidenced by how long it took me to actually read it. I don't know why but I found my attention wandering. It just seemed to take an awfully long time for the case to be solved. 3⭐️
These books are good for when I have a lot going on and need something easy to focus on. I thought this was a solid addition to the series and enjoyed the second half in particular. Love Roarke as always ❤️ #romance
Welp, vacation is well and truly over. All flights delayed getting out of Nassau because of heavy thunderstorms this morning, so I've just been chilling in the airport with a new book. Chipping away at this monster of a series about as fast as my library holds come in 😄
Due to the drama that I endured earlier today, I forgot to post this.
I'm really enjoying this #BookFitnessChallenge
Thanks @wanderinglynn for thinking of this!
Flipping between these two very different books and really enjoying both!
Another great book in the In Death series. This time Eve not only has to solve a murder but discover who is trying to take her badge from her. I‘ve always liked Eve, but this one helped me understand Eve. Eve‘s motivations and inner thoughts were explored to a higher degree in this book, and I appreciated the insight.
I love this sci-if, romance, mystery mashup series. Each installment has a good mystery, good world building, and good character development. 🎧 I love the audiobooks, read by Susan Ericksen. Can‘t wait to read more.
Very jammed packed with Character growth... is a pivotal book for those who are reading the series in order. Those picking this book at random wont understand why the main characters are responding they way they are to the "holy shit" moments.
Enjoying this continuation so far. The series hasn't grown stale yet! The narrator is real pro!
