pickI just adore Betty White! She's so down to earth and funny. This was a great slice of life, talking about some of her later projects, interactions with fans, and her love of animals. Even after so many years of fame she shows humility and gratitude for her successes

pickI‘ve had this book on my kindle forever, but decided to see if Libby had the audio version, and they do! It was nice hearing Betty‘s words in her own voice. I‘ve always loved her, and still want to be her when I grow up. This short and sweet book is a collection of personal stories, observations, and musings. Basically, it‘s Betty being Betty, and IMO, she may be the most awesome human to ever have humaned. 🤣

pickSweet and gentle life musings from everyone‘s favorite grandma. I loved this glimpse into Betty White‘s life. She‘s passionate about animals and her television work. She certainly has a optimistic view of life and this was a quick breath of fresh air.

Written 10 years before her death yet mirroring how busy she was still working/acting and advocating for the animals in her life and around the world. Delightful. The world lost a great human in her passing, but I have every faith that her legacy lives on.

pickThere are not enough words to talk about this book. I listened to the audiobook and it was an amazing experience to listen to the author tell her stories. I have loved Betty White all my life, but knew very little about her life. I loved hearing her behind the scenes stories about all the shows and movies she has done. I also loved listening to her talk about her husband and all her animals. She was quite the lady!! Highly recommend!!

I can‘t resist frequent checking to see what‘s new in the Libby database at the library. Before setting the filter to limit my search to audiobooks, I noticed the latest issue of People magazine is at the top of the list. 😕

so-soI love Betty White, but this book is not a must read. It's full of fun little stories and anecdotes, however, I wasn't blown away by them. Perfect if you're looking for a light, easy read though!

I wanted to love this book like I love Betty White... but I did not. Lots of short random stories and anecdotes. It was a short listen coming in at just over 2 hours. I will give one of her other books a try sometime, though. I would like to learn more about her life. This just really wasn't it.
so-soA book club read. I really like Betty White in shows, and in interviews she seems genuinely nice, and her book reinforces that belief for me. Easy, light, very positive. Not very in depth, and while organized by topic, still felt a bit unorganized, but some good reminders of how to be a good friend, good professional, good person.

pickI did this as an audiobook and it was read by Betty herself. I really enjoyed it. Each chapter is a different random subject and she tells stories from throughout her life. I love her humor and her positive outlook on things. I think it was even better since she did read it, as you get her tone with the words and not what a different reader thinks is the tone, if that makes sense.

pickIf you love Betty White, you‘ll enjoy this book full of essays on her thoughts and life. I highly recommend the audio version as she‘s so fun to listen to. I love that she seems so down to earth and genuine.
And #TIL that she‘s a big poker player and plays regularly with a group, and the winner gets a trophy (which they have to bring back the next game or face a $2000 penalty).

so-soI love Betty White. She is that sweet grandma, that, at least after you read this, you're slightly worried about. She cracks me up. I did laugh out loud a few times! But, the stories are short and random. Based on the title, I should have been more ready for that. I didn't know that she had already written many books and that writing is a passion for her. I just stumbled across this one. Recommend if you love Betty and need a little laugh.
