Yes! This is next! I‘m excited about continuing to read all of these “Greatest Novels”. But, look at this edition! Isn‘t it beautiful?

“There is one spectacle grander than the sea, that is the sky; there is one spectacle grander than the sky, that is the interior of the soul.“

Day 193.
Here I will note 365 books (or as many as I will have before I get tired) that have shaped my taste in literature. No explanations, no reviews. Just the cover of the book.
I do not challenge anyone. You are all welcome to take part.
I missed yesterday's #julyjourneys #bastilleday
Les Mis isn't really about Bastille day, but it is about the French rising up and saying they have had enough ❤️
Welcome to my kitchen, and thanks Pinterest for this knife block idea that I have been using for a few years now

Goals:
1. Finish Les Mis
2. Read 10,000 pages
3. Read 20 books
4. Work on series bingo
5. Focus on kryptonite book list

I am looking forward to the new year #bookspin! This 2021 I really want to focus on books I own. A majority of these books I already own.
If anyone is interested in a buddy read with the above books, let me know.
“Then he sat down upon the steps, his heart full of tenderness and resolution, he blessed his love in the depths of his thought, and he said to himself that since Cosette was gone, there was nothing more for him but to die.”
Don‘t mind me. I‘m just eye rolling super hard while gagging at the same time.
The last 400 pages were a decent read, the first 800 not so much. Tons of characters were introduced apparently to allow Author to dive into some obscure obsession and then they were gone. On the other hand, in a city the size of Paris when one character was attempting to hideout there was a ridiculous number of coincidental meetings. Jean valjean, the Bishop, and Gavroche were great. Marius was a moron and Cosette insipid. No more big books!
Watching the BBC Les Mis and eating Tomato Pie. Feels like summer and revolution! Vive la France! #dinnerandaclassic
Hey friends who did the #lesmisbuddyread last fall.. have you seen this? Apparently a 6 part mini series starting next weekend on PBS
My three new B&N collectable editions came todsy! I grabbed these during the 3 for $25 sale. I really really wanted to get six but it's harder to hide six massive tomes 😂😅
I've been wanting to replace my old bind up of Poe for years, and I am so in love with the filigree on both Sherlock and Les Miserables 😍😍
Libro 3 del año *.*
Day 3 of #requiredreadingredo... I‘m so so sorry about this one... I LOVE Les Mis the musical. Almost obsessively. It‘s playing in my car now in fact... but this book was hard and heavy and I read it very young. I also didn‘t “read” and instead listened to the audio book, so that could have contributed to my dislike. #lesmis #24601 @ErinSueG
A few hours late for my prompt, but oh well.
Last night was a gorgeous night for reading a few chapters outside! Yes, I‘m STILL reading Les Mis. I‘m probably close to 3/4 of the way through. It‘s been a long time since I‘ve taken so long to finish a book other than the Bible, but I‘ve been enjoying it when I‘m able to read! #WineWednesday #ReadingResolutions
Day 16: Current Read #Ampersand2018
Yes, still. 😂

Day 14: Sky
We made a quick road trip to go see Hamilton ⭐️ this weekend. I used what daylight I had to #ReadLesMis 📚. Still reading about the convent...that part is kind-of going on forever.
#Ampersand2018
Ah! Little Cosette is now with Valjean and all is right in the world.
While Book Second on the Battle of Waterloo was rough, I feel like Book Third was the reward for having made it through. Valjean‘s role as Cosette‘s redeemer is just perfect.
Also, I can‘t stop hearing the songs from the musical keep going through my head. 😂🎶

Day 1: May TBR
In May I‘m joining a group of ladies on Bookstagram who are reading Les Mis! I‘m excited because it‘s one that‘s been sitting on my shelf for ages waiting for “some day” when I get to it. 😳 If you want to join in, search for the #readLesMis hashtag on Instagram.
