I choose this book because I feel that Cormac will always be there for Emily. No matter what.
so-soLast book read this month but it didn‘t work for me🤷🏽♀️I didn‘t/couldn‘t connect with the characters and Emily was so unrealistic for me in many aspects. That O‘Connell too possessive, controller😐. I inhaled, deeply, in various of his expressions. Nope. No way. But their stories were so difficult😳There are a couple of triggers here. 2/3⭐️ Wonderful body but about his mind and personality?🤔😕
pickSolid suspenseful romance, this tale of redemption has a pretty heavy backstory so I recommend checking out the content warnings. Definitely different from what I usually read but glad the #littensloveromance chose this book. pickThis year I'm trying to branch out on my reading & this cover is really helping. Also the story is pretty hot as well. Good girl meets bad boy, both have troubled/horrible pasts & both need each other for a better future. Mostly it's about the cover though ❤️🔥

so-so#unpopularopinion I never connected with the characters and thought their relationship was a bit odd. I was also put off by the descriptions of rape/physical abuse so this just may be a romance subgenre that's not for me.
I did appreciate the communication between the couple to work through their trauma together.

pickI enjoyed this one! Emily is running from a sad and dangerous past. Cormac is an up-and-coming boxer with his own sucky past. Two damaged individuals come together and find that some things are worth fighting for.
I read this for #LittensLoveRomance and would definitely read the next book in the series!

Finished this #littensloveromance read earlier and I really liked this one. Seems most of the group agrees from a few other reviews I‘ve seen posted so far. I will probably pick up the second book at some point.

Cute story about a young girl haunted by her past and an up-and-coming prize fighter that has issues of his own. In many ways these characters are opposites and I enjoyed their journey to get to one another. Lots of drama to help move this love story along. I liked the main characters and wanted to see everything work out for them. Perfect story to read for Valentine's Day. I will definitely read the next book in the series. Read this for..

pickI loved this book and the romance between Emily and O‘Connell. The entire book was a great read, and the final three chapters really pulled you in. It was hard to put down. Ch.28: the world of fighting clearly has a dark side. I don‘t like the idea of rigging and things like that - but at least Con has Danny to help him navigate. 👇

Ch.25: the romance is amped up. Things are going too well…what‘s going to happen?
Ch.26: what a beautiful wedding and celebration. It‘s not often you get to that part in a romance novel, so this is sweet. But for how long?
pickI must say I enjoyed this book. I will not do too much of a review as I finished ahead of our romance group, but I loved the main characters. I am not a boxing fan per se, but the author made it work.
#LittensLoveRomance Ch.21: after telling Con the last horrible secret from her past, Em and Con work on moving forward. He handled it well considering his temper. But just wait - if Frank ever shows his face, blood will spill.
Ch.22: both Em and Con stand up to his mother and it‘s great to see them as a united front. But I doubt she‘ll go away that easily. 👇
#LittensLoveRomance Ch.18: a lot happens in this chapter- Em meets Con‘s horrible mother, finally admits she and Con are together, then let‘s her insecurities come out to play after Con‘s mother unleashes her poison. She takes off after the fight determined to let Con go. But something tells me it won‘t be that easy. 👇
so-soI have a ton of holds out from the library so I had to finish this one early.
It took me a bit to believe their relationship and I don‘t think I actually agree. And I didn‘t realize she was only 20. They both have such an awful past (a lot darker than I usually like to read). But it‘s a romance so it ends happily ever after. And I‘ve never read a boxing romance before, so that was interesting.

Ch.16: Emily gives O‘Connell a Celtic cross as a gift, something he hasn‘t received in years. She tells him about her stepdad and they grow closer. Can the two of them properly leave their pasts behind and move forward together? 👇

So I got my son's cold AND I'm worried about my family and kitty in south Florida so I literally want to do nothing but get under the covers and read so that I can maybe get my anxiety down some and to maybe stop the chills wracking my body at the moment, but I have to be a responsible parent and not put my son to bed at 6:00. *shakes fist while having a sneezing fit*
