4.5⭐️ The Familiar, The Last One
4⭐️ Never Whistle at Night, How to Solve Your Own Murder, A Fate Inked in Blood, Listen for the Lie, Kill For Me Kill For You, Fantasticland, The Whispering Dead, Avenging Angel
3.5⭐️ Such Sharp Teeth
3⭐️ I‘m Thinking of Ending Things
2.5⭐️Crimson River
‘Twas another great year of reading AND of using the storygraph! 🤩🤩
A slower month for me because that Fourth Wing and Iron Flame hangover is STILL going on. Any recommendations are appreciated!!
Looking back at November I don‘t know how to pick a favorite, there were so many standouts that were almost perfect. The one thing I actually rated 5 stars was Anne, so maybe that. At any rate, I had a really great, relaxing reading month! And I‘m psyched for December (even if this year seemed to go faster than ever!)
Solid month but it felt slow. Currently reading way too many, but main read is a reread of Fourth Wing, in anticipation of Iron Flame. 🔥
October wrap-up: quite a few short reads but I'll take the bingos anyway😁
@PuddleJumper #Roll100 picks
- Jan: Mars 11 by Fuyumi Soryo
- Feb: Parable of the Sower Graphic novel
- June: The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
- July: In Bloom by Paul Tremblay
- Oct: Parable of the Sower by Octavia Butler
@TheAromaOfBooks Oct #BookSpin: The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky and 2 #BookSpinBingo 🎉
My completed September reads! I was hoping to finish 7 books but 5 isn‘t too bad especially when I had a major book hangover after Fourth Wing.
#SassyBookworm😏 #BookedInTime #SummerEndReadathon
This month‘s books and current reads! Had a difficult month in terms of quantity, but pretty good quality!
#booksof2023
August Wrap-up. I read 17 books this month. I decided to call the month, because I won't finish the book I'm reading tonight.
Monthly wrap up! 7 books is pretty average for me.
Glow of the Everflame destroyed me. Highly recommend!

No 5 star reads this month 😢. It was a slower month for me. Onto August! #monthlywrapup
A slower month for me. I‘m still in that Fourth Wing slump! #monthlywrapup #booksof2023
May was a good month! I did get into a bit of a slump after Fourth Wing, though! Onto June! Happy reading, Littens!

Thank you @monalyisha for hosting #AuldLangSpine and for the fun pairing. My taste definitely shares some common ground with my partner @BookNAround - but working from her list also allowed me to to stretch into some new things I wasn‘t aware of and enjoyed. I have read 5 so far and plan to continue on. This was a great distraction during a traditionally tough dark January in the Midwest. *Leo offered support all month 🐶
This was a crazy year with my interstate move, and everything else, so even though I didn't read as much as usual I'm happy with where I landed! I feel like my shortest and longest book balance each other out, don't you? 😂
Lots of good books were read! Check out my wrap up list! What did you read and enjoy? Inquiring minds want to know!

So this was a fun reading month 📖🥰.
April's reading challenge was Fantasy books and here are all the fantasies I read!
Wolfsong is basically second to none 🐺. And Eliot Grayson's writing was fabulous as always 👍.

I still have 2 books to review for this month, but yearly wrap-up is on my mind.
I read 165 books this year trying to keep myself inside and safe during this wild world we are living through means I got to really dig into my TBR!
I read some insanely fantastic books and some really terrible ones. Some I didn't remember until I looked at my list :)
Check out my wrap up list for November…lots of good ones on there!

My goal in these readathons is simple: read as much as I can, I don‘t know how the week will be. Last week I sacrificed myself😜 and did house chores, not much reading time
But I finished 2 books Which were started before the readathon:
1️⃣Dreamcatcher, my agony this month😳
2️⃣Ella Enchanted
Also, I started one book
3️⃣Truly Madly Guilty (363 pages read during #AwesomeAprilReadathon, finished it early this morning). Splendid ok week😉
@Andrew65
Here are my audio reads for March. Stop by and tell me what you listened to!
https://reecaspieces.com/2021/04/01/audible-reads-for-march-wrapup-audiobooks-au...
I usually don‘t do these, but for the first time since I joined litsy I can actually see the books pile up as I read them. These are all the books I read in March (not including The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents which was an ebook). I know it‘s not that impressive, but I was shocked at just how much I read this month.
I got out of my reading slump this month by re-reading the Veronica Speedwell series and I read some really good ones for book club also: Where the Wild Ladies Are, The Gilded Ones, and Oona Out of Order. I also really enjoyed the Stephen King and think I am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter would make a good book club pick. I enjoyed Glennon Doyle's memoir but didn't feel my life was personally altered by it.
My audible reads for February. Check it out!
https://reecaspieces.com/2021/02/28/audible-reads-for-february-wrapup-audibleboo...
My #FabulousFebruary wrap up. I managed 6 books. All romance but the middle 4 were a reverse harem rabbit hole that I fell down. Guilty pleasure books for sure but there was a intriguing, over the top suspenseful storyline to go with them. I can thank @BayouGirl85 and #NewYearWhoDis for that. I‘ll be starting the next shadow grove series soon. @Andrew65 thanks for hosting-it was definitely one of my more productive readathons!
On track in January, will 2021 be the year to smash early, or will there be a slump?? #timewilltell #goodreadschallenge2021
My January wrap up. 🥰
♡ Truthwitch ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
♡ The Lucky Ones ⭐⭐⭐/5
♡ The Inheritance Games ⭐⭐⭐.5/5
♡ How the King of Elfhame Learned How to Hate Stories ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
It's not much but at least I have enjoyed every single one of them. 🥰
