I picked this up on a whim and wasn‘t sure how I‘d like it but I actually couldn‘t put it down once I started. It was fun with southern belles and fighting to protect others. It just was a fast read that was fun!
pickIt‘s always been hard for me to connect with the “beauty queen” trope, so I had a hard time feeling for Harper. I thought it was weird how even though her sister died only a year ago, she didn‘t seem sad or anything. But still, a good book. 4⭐️
I think my library‘s copy of this book is a little beat up. There are tinier spots like this one almost every page.

pickI have finally decided to go with the trilogy even though I know I‘m pretty late ?. It was quite an enjoayable book, found myself glued to its pages. Love the characters and plot. It was quite an easy and fun read and I´m looking forward to the other books.?

pickI... WHAT?!? I don‘t even know what was happening half the time but I‘ll be damned if I wasn‘t sucked in immediately. This novel follows a student government president turned secret ninja and throws in a little love triangle for good measure. I really appreciated the authors sense of humor, even when the story was a little...much.
Started this book for my morning me time. The pretty pink on the dust jacket was just calling to me. I always tel myself I don‘t have a preference between paperback and hardback, but I love peeling off that dust jacket and finding something beautiful underneath. This pretty rose gold had me like 😻
Oh my gosh! There aren‘t even enough words to explain how much @nelehelen spoiled me! I can‘t believe how amazing this package is. Theres the *fantastic* llama Harry Potter shirt that I 200% needed in my life, FIVE amazing books, cute faces asks, lots of candy, llama stickies, and a great mug. But the icing on the cake is that she somehow found PUMPKIN SPICE in February. Seriously, I am just in awe. THANK YOU so so so much!!

I'm not sure about this book yet. While it does have the whole super-hero vibe and kick-butt girl heroines, I'm maybe halfway into it and not quite hooked. Anyone else read this book lately? If so, what did you think of it?
pickI thought this book was 155 pages long, so when I got to 145 pages and found out that it was last page I was upset. I wanted more. This book is hilarious, cute, and fun. Harper's character development was well done. There were many uh-oh moments that kept me hooked. The plot sounds silly, but this book is so good. pickThis was a fun YA supernatural book. Some recommended it to me and I thought it was an ordinary YA so when it all of a sudden veered towards the supernatural it was shocking. But I really enjoyed the audiobook!

pickThat was a brilliant book. It's like Buffy but with Paladins, Oracles & southern gentility. Some YA novels dumb it down but this could have been an adult book that just happens to be about teenagers. Highly recommend for people who love Buffy, Vampire Diaries and anyone who loves a bit of action in their magical realism books.
