This was the 4th book in the series! This one was very cultish which I really enjoyed 📖 can‘t wait to see what the next book holds!

Another fast paced, edge of your seat read. This series gets better and better as I progress. I highly recommend this series. #SeriesLove2023 @Andrew65 @TheSpineView
“Gwen Proctor is trying to move forward. Until a new assignment gives her purpose: the cold-case disappearance of a young man in Tennessee…In a town that‘s closed its ranks against Gwen; her partner, Sam; and her kids, there‘s no bolder enemy than the Belldene family—paramilitary, criminal, powerful, and vengeful. As personal vendettas collide with her investigation, she‘s prepared to fight both battles.”
I had to suspend a lot of reality for this one, but I like the series and the characters. Action packed.

Happy New Year! After taking a few weeks off from reading, I'm starting fresh: new goals, new book, new year! Hope you all have a great day!!
Yes, they do get in batshit crazy situations but is it a fun ride the whole way? Absolutely. I‘m both sad and glad that Caine had one more in this series completed before her death earlier this month. Also... why were there no good HD cover images in English?
This one covers a few #readathon including #FeastMode #ProgressItNovember & it was also my #BookSpin book for November! The 4th book in the Stillhouse Lake series, I think it will be the last one too after the untimely death of the author. Gwen Proctor is just a sole parent of two teenagers trying to keep it together, but she‘s also the ex wife of a ruthless serial killer & is rabidly pursued by the relatives of her husbands victims. 4⭐️
I love the Stillhouse series a lot so am excited to start the newest installment today.
I‘m glad I powered through all four of these books right away. And so sad that the author passed away from cancer while I was on number four. I love Gwen, even when her kids do stupid teenager things. She pulls it together, and saves everyone‘s butt with smarts, guns, and a big helping of moxie. And the portrayal of being the newbie in a small town is spot on.

My #bookspin & #doublespin books for November. I‘m so pleased that it‘s a Rachel Caine, May she RIP. I‘m not sure if I‘m doing the bingo board yet, I may have to shake up the lineup a bit to cater for #NonFictionNovember & #ProgressItNovember We shall see🤔
My tentative #stack for #ProgressItNovember There‘s a mix of fantasy & crime/mystery, all series that I need that kick up the butt to finish. They‘ll be mixed up with my reads for #NonFictionNovember as well, I‘m planning on swapping back & forth so the NF doesn‘t drag so much, I find I read it much slower than Fiction. And I just found out that the author of the tagged book died today! Such a loss, 2020 has been awful👎
Cozy winter Sunday over here. Yes, it‘s still snowing. This book is as good as the rest of the series.

You're in a cult, call your dad! #SSDGM
Such a good book! This one really highlights the lengths to which Sam will go for Connor and the absolute trust every member of the Proctor family puts in each other when the shit hits the fan. I love this family and their friends!

🎃 I don‘t decorate for any season.

📚 So far 8. I hope to get that to double digits by the end of the month.
Finished this ebook yesterday while at lunch at work. Book 4 in the Stillhouse Lake series. Another heart pounding story, maybe one of my favorites in this series. I recently found out on Litsy that the author is in hospice due to cancer. I work at a cancer center and this breaks my heart. I did also hear she has book 5 in this series being released fairly soon.
I really enjoyed this series! This fourth book was no exception. I‘m sorry that it‘s over.
I‘m doing some #AudioCooking while I listen to the fourth book in this series. These fajitas are smelling GOOD! 🤤
This series is awesome. And apparently there‘s a 5th - I‘m like, how much more hell are you gonna put these characters through, RC? 😂😂 But I‘ll still read it 😁😂
I just love this series so much! This is the fourth book and I can‘t wait for the next one! I love the badass characters and I always enjoy each new case!
1. The tagged book, plus HP & Order of the Phoenix, The Tragedy of Antony & Cleopatra. 2. Molly Weasley and Ysabeau de Clemont 3. Pillars of the Earth #WeekendReads
This is my least favourite in the series!

I keep trying to focus on work but my eyes keep wandering to my phone and my brain is like “one more page won‘t hurt” I can‘t wait til I can bank some pages later tonight. Things are really heating up.
47%: I literally wanted to yell out loud but then I remembered I was sneak reading at work and had to be quiet. 😮😬🤐
Book 4 in the series. It‘s awesome!!! Gwen is trying to find a missing college kid and may pay the ultimate price. 💜💜💜
Bk2 in my #JanuaryBookHaul is the 4th book in the Stillhouse Lake series.Gwen Proctor is still trying to move forward in life, leaving her troubled past behind. Working as an investigator has given her new purpose, but her next case is a cold one.Three years missing with no clues, a young man in Tennessee has left behind a mother tortured with unanswered questions.Gwen knows what it‘s like to worry about your kids, so she‘ll fight to find answers.
This series just gets better and better. Such character growth too. Definitely a favorite series and another wonderful installment.
