Thoughts pending...so far in this book is so good I can't put it down yet the cringey romantic parts are making me want to throw it across the room. Gonna have to finish it but right now I can't tell whether I love it or hate it 🖤📚😂📚🖤
I wasn‘t sure that I was going to like this book when I first started it. It was definitely predictable, but it worked. I think the mix of the academic setting and the truly lovable characters made this book really special. I loved the friend group in this and the story. I would love to see this adapted into a movie because I think it would be really fun!
I promised my bestie I‘d start this as soon as I‘d arrived, so Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow is waiting in the wings for a few days (as much as it kills me to set it aside).
I really enjoyed this and I don't usually like romance books. I think the academic setting made the difference.
It was well written and paced with interesting characters. Yes, it's a bit predictable and tropey but it worked.
Glad I finally got around to finishing this. I've stopped and started it multiple times. I think this was on my #shelfofshame
Jumping in to #AuldLangSpine right away after the seasonal drivel. It was a heavy holiday, the first Christmas without my mom, so some light reading is in order. It is a wonderfully eclectic list to allow more depth as the days get longer hopefully right along with my attention span. Thanks @BookNAround @monalyisha
Ahh @Mitch I've been wanting this book for ages, and you got my favourite chocolate! Thank you so much, and have a lovely christmas🎄🥰

Wow!! I picked this as my #BOTM Book of the Year but honestly wasn‘t expecting to love it- let alone read it in one sitting! But I totally loved it and absolutely couldn‘t put it down! Such a delightful romance- steamier and with great bantering dialogue and a great cast of characters! Was it predictable- sure, but in the best sort of way! I had fun reading it and wouldn‘t have picked it up otherwise so I‘m glad to have not missed out! Such fun!
Olive kisses the nearest guy, which ends up being Adam, the notably hot Stanford scientist. They decide to fake date so Adam can receive his grants for research. Will their feelings get in the way of both their experiments?
This book was so worth the hype. It was so charming & funny. I enjoyed both of the characters. The plot & the writing were both stellar. I would definitely read it again.

With this book I just felt so much. I don‘t have words to describe it.
It was literally amazing.
I loved it because of the intrigued story and because of the way Ali Hazelwood decided to tell it. She made me laugh, think, cry (a lot, really) and I just loved every second spent on this book.
Adam and Olive will always remain in my heart. ❤️
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I've had this book for a while, still sitting in my tbr, but I've heard all kinds of amazing things about it. 🥰 Have you guys read this book?
How would you rate it?
I loved the brain, the overthinking and crazy friendship that Olive, main character, was given in the story. Really enjoyed the context and I could really picture the description given. Really loved it.
This was exactly as cute as everyone says it is!! I stayed up late to finish it last night. So fun when a book is worth the hype. I chuckled throughout and I completely adored Adam the nerdy, awkward professor.
I was not expecting this to be so steamy, oh but it was! I really did love this story. It was such a cute love story with lots of comedy and relatable moments. It also touches on important topics like the roles women play in academia and STEM, challenges they may face including assumptions, bias, and discrimination.
This was a quick read that is funny, romantic, and adorable!
I‘m excited to be starting this one! I‘ve seen SO many positive things on Litsy and on Goodreads. I recently enjoyed all three of Hazelwood‘s novellas.
My crappy luck with romance fiction books continues.
The fake dating thing was awkward, but I assumed it would get better. It didn‘t!
Tom the supervisor of the company Olive does research with wants se*. in order for her to get credit she had to lay him and I thought, Oh her professor Adam that gives her support will help olive ruin his reputation. I thought he‘ll get fired, but no. Adam r***s her in the hotel room after her speech.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book!! Even though the fake-dating storyline is pretty predictable, I really didn‘t care since the overall plot was so cute. The academia setting was a nice bonus too :) hoping to read more from Ali!
Adam : "Did you... Did you just kiss me?"
Olive : "Nope"

This story was great. It had some cute laugh out loud moments, and the characters were written well!
Each of our books for spa weekend.
Loved this book, almost imposible to put down. For someone who has been around academia, this book was so relatable in many ways which allowed me to connect that much more with the characters. Additionally, it is such a beautiful love story that at the same time can make you laugh. I started reading it during my free time at work and I found myself containing my laugh various times. A fav for sure ❤️.
Ok ok...I admit that 24% into the book I was not into it. I contemplated into stop reading it, I even talked to my book groups about it but finally decided to push through and OMG I'm so glad I did. The story was so cute. I fell in love with Olive and Adam. I even cry à little. And for the most part I smiled like an idiot yhe whole time I was reading it.😍
I started this book three days ago, snd I am 9 percent into it, and so far it is a fun book. my friends and mutual friends all spoke highly it.
[...] «mi sta a cuore», ripeté Olive.
«Mi sta a cuore», ripeté Olive. «la ricerca che voglio fare.» Aveva ventitré anni ed era sola al mondo. Non voleva i fine settimana o uno stipendio decoroso. Voleva tornare indietro nel tempo. Essere meno sola. Ma siccome era impossibile, si accontentava di aggiustare ciò che poteva.
I really loved this book. For once, the failure to communicate actually made some sense (social awkwardness/anxiety instead of pure stubbornness). The humor was perfect, the growth of the relationship worked - it was a great romance read.
I am loving #TheLoveHypothesis a little over halfway through this book 😍
While sometimes momentarily cringy with some of the over stated or overly obvious sentences, overall this book is a delight. I love a certain man, who knows what he wants. It was also fun to read a romance set in academia as a current PhD student! Will be reading more by this author for sure!
Super fun nerdy romance. Loved the laugh-out-loud parts, especially the dialogue. Just what I needed in the moment.
How can you not love this book?!? It is a fake dating ploy…what could possibly go wrong? It covers romance, academia, and friendship. Ali Hazelwood is a truly gifted writer. Her writing catches your attention and holds it through the book. She describes each character to an extent that makes them feel like your best friends. I highly recommend this book!
“I'm going to kill you.“
“If you say another word about the woman I love, if you look at her, if you even think about her--I'm going to fucking kill you.“

Don't hate me pls.I thought this book was good don't get me wrong but at some parts it was very boring. I found it very easy to read and I did stay up late finishing it but I kind of felt obligated to finish it bc I don't like dnfing books and this book WAS too good to DNF. I guess, looking overall I think I would rate this book 3.75/5. I WOULD recommend as I know lots of people love this book so I guess I would say to form your own opinion.
This Romcom is super endearing and fun! It takes place in an academic setting complete with all the trails and tribulations of a scientific grad student‘s journey complete with living on a shoe string finances and ride or die friendships forms through similar experiences. Olive is all these & more when she finds herself fake dating a broody profesor for mutually beneficial reasons. A bit predictable but a intimate peek into the psyche of us all.
just finish The Love Hypothesis love every minute of this book love the characters
