So I‘ve been keeping a log of what I have read since 1986. Just dates, titles , authors. No reviews , just noting rereads. What a long strange trip it‘s been.

So, @TheSpineView posted some incredible reading journal pages. I asked her if she wouldn't mind sharing them with me; she graciously said she would. I'm thinking she'll email them to me or mail the sheets--something like that. What does she do instead? She makes me my very own journal. Binds it and all. It arrived today, Lisa, and I am in awe or your creative talents. I adore it, and I can't wait to write in it! Thank you, my friend. 😍💜😘
Netgalley sent me a gift for Christmas. It‘s a reading journal. I don‘t know if I‘m going to use it or not or if I‘m going to keep up with it. I‘m probably not the only person they‘ve sent this reading journal to but I appreciate the fact that they thought about me enough to send me a gift. It‘s a nice gesture.
Had a bit of a slump in April but May got me back on track! I‘ve realised when I‘m in a slump it‘s chunksters that get me out of it - something meaty to really get lost in. What gets you back on track?
A little peek inside the journal, which has 95 book entry spaces and a little spot in the back to keep track of any TBR books.
So I have this planner, it‘s a coloring monthly and weekly planner. I love it. I also own the tagged book journal. But I never ever use book journals because I will never look back on it. I do enter my finished books in my planner calendar with color pencil colors that reflect the book cover colors and I write me rating. No more than that. It makes me feel successful to see what reading I did each month. ⬇️
The #kittysquad really doesn‘t want me to continue with my journal right now! #CatsofLitsy #TrickyCat #DavidCat #BonBonCat
#TrickyCat has decided I really don‘t need to update my reading journal. #CatsofLitsy 🤷🏻♀️😀
The bookshelf shuffle has been accomplished! That gold notebook is my 2021 reading journal. Or is it? 🤔
I don‘t have the boxes for the racing Presidents bobbleheads, so I figured they wouldn‘t mind hanging out on the history shelf.
The new shelf is the wrong color (apparently they don‘t make this model in brown anymore?), but it‘s okay. That shelf is mostly pictures with vexing reflections that make my head explode trying to avoid.

Recently, I decided to post on my blog again after abandoning it for more than a year. The blog is specifically designed to share my love of reading by writing reviews, posting some memorable quotes, or discussing book-related topics. It's kind of my online reading journal where I basically talk about books in writing. There's not much to see right now, but I intend to write more posts later. So, I'd be really glad if you could check it out! 😉
This book is great fun! It has lots of space for you to write summaries and notes for reviews while adding flares of games and questions that make you think about your reading habits. I highly recommend this book as anyone's reading companion!
Just got a new reading journal. Anyone use a physical journal to document their reading?
Birthday Present to myself 🥳📚📖
Does anyone else keep a journal similar to this? I‘ve been just using a notebook, but this one looks really cool!! 📝
I‘ve been seeing everyone using reading journals lately. What do you love in a reading journal? Do you have a favorite kind? Do you like using one? Looking to buy one.
@GingerAntics okay so it's a little bit hard to see so small but here's what I do: I have a template that I taped inside a regular journal as the bookcase. then I tentatively write down the books that I'm going to be reading for that month in pen. Once I finish the book I use Goodreads for the date & the pages and color in the book on the shelf. I then put a tick mark down below for the genre of the book falls under. 😁
About to start a new reading journal which is always a joy but at the same time a little stressful as the rating system is different from the one in my last journal. That one had categories to rate from 1 to 10 (quality of writing, plot development, pace etc) and this one just has stars from 1 to 5 for overall rating. It's a great journal though - a great size and chunky feeling in the hand!
I have updated my Google Sheet READING LOG with more data capture AND Pivot Tables (I'm sorta in love with Pivot Tables right now). Sheet 1 "Reading Log" you still type in information for each finished book (& new columns have been added!) & Sheet 2 "Pivot Collection" combines certain columns for a closer comparison look. As always the first 2 rows are for example & if you have questions please ask. Link in bio & here's to STATS! ? #tracking

Merry Christmas! I got so many lovely book nerd gifts, including this journal!
I hope your Christmas is merry and bright and filled with good things. :-)
#NotebooksJournals #Riotgrams my friend gave me this as a Christmas gift. Normally I track my books through Litsy or Goodreads. But I have enjoyed keeping more detailed notes in this journal.
Ok, seriously? This book only allows for 49 titles! That isn't even a full row on my bookshelf! I need about nine more...sigh... But i also scored pens and notebooks so I'm happy! Yes, i started bullet journaling and am grateful for the amount of mental relief.
#bulletjournal #stationary #yaypens
I'm totally digging this new journal. @BooksTeasAndBookishThings this is the same journal I got you. I am shipping it out tomorrow
There is a Barnes and Coupon on their website. Sharing this information.
#BookishGoods #RiotGrams my reading log, pens and #BOTM tote are all newish, bookish and a #blameitonLitsy
@MyNamesParadise most of the pages inside look like this. There are some pages at the back that list different book lists: Man Booker prize, best of, Pulitzer Prize, etc. It contains places to put down 10 authors you've seen. In between the pages I'm showing there are prompt pages. What's your favorite genre, if you read this book what book would you read after, things like that. I hope this helps.
Bookish stuff from your friend at Christmas time. I so wanted these socks. And she had no idea. When all the stars align. It's hard to tell from the picture, but the mug has all Jane Austen books on it.
I received an early Christmas Gift today. So excited for my Reading Journal & my Personal Library Kit. Love them both so much.
Making a reading Journal filled with challenges and a place I can write my notes as I read so I can review them on here!
