August's selections was this very entertaining, supernatural take on Sherlock Holmes & Doctor Watson. I hope the author plans future adventures for the duo.

I had a great December reading month, buoyed by days off at the end if the month. I finished 22 books A couple were short stories & the cumulation of a year-long daily read but I also had one chunkster of an audiobook.

I finished books for #SundayBuddyRead #ChildrensClassicRead2025 #NancyDrewBR
#BobWhiteBuddies #EBBR #MonthlyNonFiction #ThematicCozies
#FictionalTraveler #Rol|100 (3) #AuthorAMonth
#Naturalitsy & #SeriesLove2025

⬇️

DebinHawaii … A good mix of genres & four audiobooks. Favorites were King Sorrow, First Sign of Danger, The Women of Wild Hill, The Hollow Places & Winter In the Blood. I also made it through 60% of The Ordeals which I will finish today. (edited) 2d

I waited way too long to read The City in Glass, but I always love Nghi Vo's work so it once again pips the Sarah Caudwell books I read in the same month to the post. The City in Glass is a strange fever-dream of a book, and beautiful.

TheEllieMo Another new one to me, it‘s a genre I‘ve tended to shy away from, but it sounds interesting 1w

I read this every Christmas. It‘s heavy on sarcasm and dark humor which I appreciate especially this time of year!

2✨ This book hurt. We have a demon that loves her city that is destroyed. An angel helps her rebuild, but more happens that caused my personal heartache. It is short in jumps through time a lot because of that. Then it hurt. 😭 #FableBR @Littlewolf1

Oof, there is a LOT going on here. Almost too much - I felt like the final couple of plot twists were a couple too many, but that might say more about my lack of imagination. It's beautifully written, and I found myself very invested in the characters.
