Cuilin I know I seem to be always asking questions, but has anybody seen Mr. Bates V the Post Office? Because I was screaming “don‘t sign it Laura!!!!“ I liked how she was learning Morse code for telegrams. That‘s pretty cool. 13h

Well, I‘m chiming in to add my love to the chorus of #PersephoneClub readers who loved this book, too.

An exquisitely wrought story of a 1950s housewife who is slowly going mad until she finds a purpose: to try to save her 18-year-old daughter from the same sort of life in which she herself is stuck.

#JohnnyBergen has been finding camper life exhausting. We‘ve been on the road for a couple of weeks. 😆

LeahBergen @Cathythoughts I‘m going through the same thing! I just spent 8 days with family and had ZERO reading (or Litsy) time. It was all great fun, though, and we‘re now having a bit of time to ourselves. Johnny would be enjoying the wilds of Canada much more if your Lisa was here to bolster his courage. 😆😆 2y

This year I‘ll be reading! I was just mentioning to the BF that I usually have a tracker and updates on for the Super Bowl, but not this year. I just really really don‘t like these two teams. So, I‘ll be reading to my hearts content this evening, with a little Trollope and Williams‘, STONER. Both, are excellent thus far.

This month, for an IG buddy read, we read the second to last book in the Barsetshire Chronicles. Now that I've completed my 5th book written by Anthony Trollope, I feel like he & I are quite good chums. And I've come to the conclusion that Trollope now ranks as one of my favorite classic authors.
