Here‘s my review for this book series I just finished reading. I finished this book series for #serieslove2025.

I was just sent an ARC of this second chance hockey romance I signed up for from Chasing Books PR. I forgot that I signed up for it. I actually signed up for the ARCs that they were offering around the same time I signed up for Replay by L.A. Shaw. I saw recently that they‘re offering Trick Play by L.A. Shaw which is the next book in The Playbook series.
I decided to start this book next. I read the first book a long time ago and I liked it but I never continued with the series. This is a football romance set in Atlanta, Georgia.

I just finished reading this week‘s short story “The Illustrious Client” for #noplacelikeholmes. Stephen Fry is going to be reading this collection of short stories for the last time. I‘m glad.
Here‘s my #readyourkindle picks for May. I have 2 mood reading prompts and 2 Kindle Unlimited prompts. I‘ll pick the books when I do the prompts. I don‘t know if I‘ll be able to mood read this month but if I have time during the month, I would like to.
Here‘s my #readyourkindle list for May. It hasn‘t changed that much. I feel like I‘ll be able to read my #roll100 book and finish a series that I started. I don‘t know if I‘ll be able to mood read but I like having the option to do it once I‘ve finished priority reads.
Here‘s my May #bookspinbingo board. I found the background image on Pinterest and I chose it for my bingo board because it‘s Spring. I thought it was cute to see the rabbits having a picnic outside.
Here‘s my May #bookspinbingo picks. My #bookspin is a #roll100 book that was picked in February and my #doublespin is a book club book. I joined Crow Club on the Fable app because I saw that they‘re reading Project Hail Mary this month and I want to read it. I‘ve been wanting to read it since I added it to my Goodreads TBR in 2021. I‘ve heard good things about it. I hope I like it.
Here‘s the rest of my April Book Haul that I wrote down in my Novelly Yours reading journal. The 2 book haul pages only have room for 22 books which is a problem for me because I tend to buy a lot of books. I couldn‘t fit all of them on to the 2 book haul pages in my reading journal so I had to use the 3 blank pages at the back.

Here‘s my April Book Haul that I wrote down in my reading journal from Novelly Yours.

I was on Fable and saw that this club is reading Project Hail Mary this month so I joined the club. I‘ve heard that this book has a lot of science but I‘ve also heard good things about it. I hope I like it. I‘ve had this book on my Goodreads TBR since 2021.
Here‘s how I did on my April #roll100 picks. I didn‘t read any of them but I did finish reading my #roll100 book from February so I‘m very happy about that. I still have the other book from February to read that‘s about black fashion designers but it shouldn‘t take a long time for me to read it. The audiobook for it is 6 hours and 32 minutes.
Here‘s how I did on my #readyourkindle picks. I didn‘t read any of them. My picks were whatever I would‘ve ended up picking at that moment and I didn‘t get the chance to mood read at all this month because I‘m participating in a lot of buddy reads but I like having the option to mood read if I don‘t feel like reading the books on my list.
Here‘s how I did on #readyourkindle in April. I read Replay (an ARC I signed up for from Chasing Books PR) and I finally finished reading my #roll100 book that was picked back in February. I was reading it from Kindle Unlimited. It was a Netgalley book I was supposed to read before it was published but my digital file expired before I had a chance to read it so I‘m glad I found it on Kindle Unlimited.
Here‘s how I did on my #bookspinbingo picks. I only read the Agatha Christie book for #christiescapers. I didn‘t read the book club book.
Here‘s how I did on my April #bookspinbingo list. I read the short stories I was supposed to read for #noplacelikeholmes, I read the Agatha Christie book I was supposed to read for #christiescapers. I read an ARC I signed up for from Chasing Books PR and I finally finished my #roll100 book that was picked back in February. I made progress in the #realmofelderlings buddy read and started reading the January book for the #naturalitsy buddy read.
Here‘s how I did in April. I didn‘t read as much as I wanted to but that‘s okay. Hopefully, I can read more in May.
Here‘s my review for this book I finished reading from my February #roll100 list. This book is not in the Litsy database so it‘s being tagged under The Brain Book.

On April 5 & 12, I finished the short stories I had to read for #noplacelikeholmes. On April 19, I read a college football romance ARC I signed up to read from Chasing Books PR. On April 26, I read the short story I had to read for #noplacelikeholmes. Today, April 30 I just finished reading the Agatha Christie book that I had to read for #christiescapers. I haven‘t written a review for it yet but I liked it.

After I finished watching the Joyce Meyer Conference on Saturday afternoon, I found out that Stagecoach was going on so on Saturday and Sunday night, I watched Stagecoach on Amazon Prime Video. Amazon Prime Video was streaming it so these are the performers I watched and my thoughts about them.

Here‘s my progress on this book for the #christiescapers buddy read. I won‘t be finished in time for the discussion on Sunday but I‘m sure that I will get finished with this book before the end of the month.
Hello to everyone participating in the #naturalitsy buddy read, this ebook is available on Amazon for $2.99 right now. I had it on my Amazon wish list so I bought it. If you‘re interested in learning about owls or like birds like I do then this would be a good book to read.

Here‘s my progress on this book. I like it so far.

1. Taylor Bradshaw (an independent folk musician I listen to) just released a new song.
2. I bought some books this week.
3. The neighbor‘s cat is still visiting us.
4. I saw a Carolina Wren in the backyard under the patio. I never got a picture of it because birds don‘t stay still so this picture is from Google.
5. I‘m watching the Battlefield Of The Mind conference on livestream this weekend (4/24-4/26).

I found some more free audiobooks I wanted from Chirp Books so I bought 20 of them.
I just finished this week‘s short story for #noplacelikeholmes. Now, I‘m ready for Saturday‘s discussion.
Here‘s my progress on this book. I‘m not sure if I‘ll get finished with this book before the end of the month but I‘ve made a lot of progress and I‘ve been journaling along with it every night before bed.
I decided to preorder some more audiobooks during the Barnes & Noble preorder sale since it‘s ending on April 25. I found some more books that I wanted. I‘ve preordered digital books from them before and I‘ve also preordered physical books from them too. When I‘ve preordered physical books, they arrive a week after they‘re released but digital books become available on my device on release day so I like that.
Here‘s my progress on this book for the #naturalitsy buddy read. It‘s interesting but she‘s using a lot of scientific words that I don‘t understand. I feel like I need Cliff Notes to understand what she‘s talking about but when she‘s not using scientific words, I understand what she‘s talking about. I‘ve never read a book by a marine biologist. I will keep going with this though.
1. The Very Hungry Caterpillar - I read this book when I was a little girl.
2. The Little Prince - I liked this one.
3. Frankenstein - This book was okay.
4. Moby Dick - I read the children‘s version of this book instead of the regular version but I liked this book.
5. IT - I liked this one.
6. The Hound Of The Baskervilles - I liked this one.
7. Les Miserables - I liked this one.
8. Dracula - This book was okay.

I watched 2 webinars recently. I watched 1 about trees hosted by my library and 1 about birds hosted by American Bird Conservancy. I really enjoyed them. The next thing that‘s happening from 4/24-4/26 is the Battlefield Of The Mind Conference hosted by Joyce Meyer. I bought a livestream ticket for this already. I read her book “Battlefield Of The Mind” years ago and I liked it so I‘m looking forward to watching the conference this weekend.
I just found out that Barnes & Noble is having a preorder sale. I‘m not a premium member but I am a rewards member so I preordered 2 audiobooks.
Wow. I just bought these 6 audiobooks from Chirp and look how much money I saved. This is a good deal for all of these audiobooks. I can‘t believe I only paid $10.74 for all of these audiobooks.
I decided to start this book for the #naturalitsy buddy read. I bought this audiobook with a credit I got this month with my Libro FM membership. I‘m not very far into this book but I like it. It‘s interesting so far.
Here‘s what I bought from the Libro FM sale. I wonder how much money The Book Attic will get from this purchase. I paid $17.45 for all of these audiobooks. I saved a lot of money. My subtotal was $24.95. I got a discount of $7.50 and I ended up paying $17.45. I think that‘s a good deal. I don‘t want to pay more for audiobooks if I don‘t have to. Paying $20, $30 or $50 for audiobooks is ridiculous. I‘m glad I found out about this sale.
I just went on Libro FM‘s website and I saw that they‘re having a sale so I bought some audiobooks. The Book Attic is the indie bookstore I‘m supporting so I got 5 audiobooks for $17.45. I didn‘t believe it at first because normally, the audiobooks cost a lot more on Libro FM and I don‘t usually want to buy them when they cost a lot but there was a discount on them so I got them for a good deal.
Here‘s my review for this book I just finished reading. This book is not in the Litsy database. I guess I‘m not too late reviewing this book because the publication date was April 15 and I didn‘t get it posted before that day but it‘s publication week for the book. Maybe they‘ll be happy that I‘m reviewing it and they won‘t care if it‘s a few days late. Right? I forgot to mention that it‘s available now to read on Kindle Unlimited.
I‘ve made more progress in this book that was on my February #roll100 list. I started it in February and I‘m still reading it.
Here‘s my progress on this book for #realmofelderlings readalong. The last time I read the book was April 9 so that was last week. I am making progress but I‘m reading at my own pace. I was enjoying this book but I took a break from reading this book because I wanted to read something else for a while.
I took the #threelistthursday quiz. It‘s all books from PBS‘s Great American Read list but the books are numbered from 100-1. My score is 24 of 100 - 24% but that‘s not right because I‘ve only read 23 books on this list. I don‘t know how I got 24. This is the 23 books I‘ve read from this list and my thoughts about them.
