I found another petition to sign. I don‘t live in New Hampshire. I live in Texas so this doesn‘t affect me but I signed the petition anyway. This could happen anywhere not just New Hampshire.

I just started listening to this book for the #christiescapers buddy read. I like it so far.
I‘m not doing very much this weekend. I took a shower tonight, ate dinner, wrote my book review for a book I finished for the #christiescapers buddy read, read the short story this week for the #noplacelikeholmes buddy read and I‘m going to journal tonight before bed, brush my teeth, put my nightgown on and start the next book for the #christiescapers buddy read.
#chatterday
For #weeklyfavorites, my favorite book I just finished last night was the tagged book I read for the #christiescapers buddy read.
I just finished this week‘s short story for #noplacelikeholmes.
I use Libby but I tend to forget about Hoopla and Kanopy. I use Hoopla to listen to music. I used Kanopy once on Roku. I tried to watch a video from The Great Courses but then I turned it off because I got distracted. I think I would prefer to listen to something from The Great Courses instead of watching it. I looked on Kanopy today and I found some documentaries that I‘m interested in watching.
I haven‘t started the short story this week for #noplacelikeholmes yet. I‘m hoping to start it tomorrow.
I just finished this book for #christiescapers. I‘ll write a review for it tomorrow.
I took some screenshots from an NPR article. What stands out to me is what the president of Hoopla Digital said. It would definitely affect Libby which I use and I‘m worried about losing access to Libby.
I found another petition to sign to save our libraries from www.change.org. I keep trying not to think about this. I keep telling myself that maybe it‘s not as bad as I think it is but it‘s been keeping me up at night. I already donated 78 cents to an organization fighting for libraries but I still wish I could‘ve donated more money. I hope it‘s not too late to save our libraries and museums.

I just found out about this. I live in Texas. I don‘t live in Missouri but I feel bad for the residents there who have lost access to Libby. There‘s a lot of people like myself who don‘t have transportation and they rely on Libby. He said he defunded Libby to protect children from pornographic material.

I filled up the bird feeders in the backyard with food and snacks and I filled up the bird bath bowl with fresh water. I weighed down the new bird bath bowl with some bull rocks because it‘s light weight. I put out some snacks in the front yard around the trees too. I decided to put out some carrot sticks for them because I read on Google that birds and squirrels like carrots and my mom and I haven‘t eaten them.

I also asked Google if Agatha Christie was influenced by Sherlock Holmes and this is what it said. I thought this was very interesting.
#christiescapers
I did some research trying to figure out why Sherlock Holmes was mentioned in the first chapter of the tagged book that I started last night and this is what Google said.
#christiescapers
Sherlock Holmes (#noplacelikeholmes), I‘m caught up on this buddy read.
Assassin‘s Apprentice (#realmofelderlings), I need to catch up on the buddy read.
My Healthy Noggin (#roll100), I probably won‘t finish it this month.
The Mysterious Affair At Styles (#christiescapers), I just started it last night but I‘ll be able to finish it. This book mentioned Sherlock Holmes in the first chapter. I thought that was interesting.
#currentlyreading
I just started this book for the #christiescapers buddy read. I‘ve only listened to the first chapter but it‘s good so far. Richard Armitage is narrating.
Here‘s my review for this book. Forced: To Enjoy is not on Litsy so I‘m reviewing it under the third book in the series.

I just saw this story today on Facebook that was shared by the American Library Association Facebook page and I thought I would share it here.
I bought 2 free audiobooks from Chirp just so I can try them out. I already have a Chirp account but I‘ve never bought audiobooks from them before. I like the idea of saving money on audiobooks so I‘m all for that. I chose The Tumor by John Grisham and Finding Faith by B.E. Baker. I‘ve never read either of these authors.
I applied to the Amazon Publishing Creator Program and they accepted me. Yay! I don‘t know what social content inspiration means but I‘m glad they‘re giving me a chance.
Here‘s my review for a book I just finished reading. I read this book for the No Shelf Control book club on Fable.
I just saw that the Libby app posted this graphic on their Instagram so basically, this means for me that I can keep using Libby. I‘m worried about losing access to Libby. If I can find the books I need to read through Libby then I‘ll use Libby as much as I can and that‘s fine with me. I love Libby.
Overdrive just issued a statement about libraries on Instagram. I rely on Libby because I can‘t drive to a library and I don‘t know how to drive so I use Libby and I can‘t constantly buy books because I‘m on a limited income. My mom can drive me to a library but not when she‘s working so Libby is convenient for me. I don‘t have to worry about transportation to a library when I use Libby and I love that.
I just saw this petition on Instagram and I signed it. I live in Texas. I didn‘t know they were doing this.
I just finished listening to the audiobook for this book. I borrowed it on Libby and someone was waiting for the book. I was determined to finish it so the person waiting for it can read it next. I‘ll write a review tomorrow. I didn‘t know it was going to take so long for me to read this book. Next, I‘m going to read some short books. I‘ll either read on my Kindle or read books for buddy reads.
This is funny. I imagine these are the books a dog would read if they could read. I wonder what books a cat would read if they could read. The neighbor‘s cat is still visiting us. He‘s not our cat but he‘s spoiled. He eats, sleeps, gets in our laps and lays on the back of our couch and he gets catnip but he likes for us to put it in a pile so he can eat it and then he rolls around in it.

I was on Facebook today and I also saw this graphic. I thought I would share it here. I live in Texas. It makes me wonder what our governor in Texas is going to do about our libraries here. I guess we‘ll have to wait and see if any other states cut off funding to their libraries.

I found this graphic on Instagram from someone I follow and wanted to share it here. I thought it would be helpful.

I donated money last night to www.everylibrary.org because I signed the petition I shared from their website. I had 78 cents left on a Visa gift card so I gave it to this organization. I‘ve decided that I‘m going to give left over money on gift cards to a charity or organization that I choose. I read the annual report on their website and they sound like a good organization.
I got a new bird bath bowl for the birds recently. I ordered it off of Amazon because my old one that‘s made out of concrete is falling apart but the new one is lightweight. It‘s not as heavy as the old one. It‘s going to take a while for the birds to get used to the new bowl. Right now, they don‘t know what to think about it.

For #weekendreads, I‘m sharing this book I‘m reading for the No Shelf Control book club on Fable. I‘m borrowing it on Libby. I‘m hoping I can finish it this weekend. It‘s due back to the library in 4 days. I‘m liking it. I don‘t know how to describe the writing except that it feels like I‘m in a dream because nothing is making any sense but I‘m awake the whole time for it. I‘m not asleep for this dream in a book.
I wonder if this is going to force all of the libraries to switch to just being online instead of being funded by the government and the only funding that would happen would come from people who use libraries. I‘m on Social Security. I can‘t drive to a library because I don‘t know how to drive so I use Libby. My mom can drive me to a library but not if she‘s working and I can‘t constantly buy books so I love Libby because it‘s convenient.
I just found out about this. I was hoping it wasn‘t true but it is. Why though? We need libraries. How is this going to affect the book I‘m borrowing on Libby right now? I found this petition to sign so I signed it. I wouldn‘t know what to say if I tried to send an email myself so this helps.

I just finished this week‘s short story for #noplacelikeholmes. I‘m glad to hear Stephen Fry narrating again because he didn‘t read the one about the cardboard box. I don‘t know if there‘s any other stories in the canon that he didn‘t narrate. I guess I‘ll find out which other stories are not included in this as I‘m reading the canon.
For week 1 of #weeklyfavorites, the only thing I finished was the short story for #noplacelikeholmes.
For this week, I‘ll only be finishing this week‘s short story for #noplacelikeholmes. I don‘t think I‘ll be finishing anything else.

I haven‘t seen any of the movies for this week‘s #threelistthursday. I haven‘t participated in a while because I forgot about it. The only movies I would like to watch are: It‘s A Wonderful Life and The Ten Commandments. I‘d like to watch them at least once but I probably won‘t watch them again just because I don‘t tend to rewatch a lot of movies unless I really like them.
For #tuesdaytunes, here‘s some songs I listened to on my Alexa Echo Dot after I got out of the shower the other night.
1. I‘m tired. I didn‘t get enough sleep last night and I found another leak in my shower last night. Water is leaking through the shower floor and it created a hole in the grout. My mom thinks it has something to do with the shower drain when the contractors built the shower.
2. Tagged! The teen girl in this book has depression so her mom makes her a cake for 100 days to make her feel better. I liked this book.
