Yay! My hometown team the Houston Texans made it to the playoffs. I live in Houston. I‘ll be watching the game on TV. I‘ve heard that the Steelers are a good team. I‘ll watch and see what happens during this game.

I‘ve decided to start this book next. This is one of my #roll100 books to read this month and I also signed up for an Advanced Listener Copy from The Smuthood PR for this book in 2025 and I was approved for it but I never read it. I don‘t like this book right now but maybe it‘ll get better. If it doesn‘t, I‘ll DNF it. I like the narrators for the audiobook though.

I read a crazy story in the Bible tonight. It says that Lot had an incestuous relationship with both of his daughters and he wasn‘t aware of it because the older and the younger daughter got him drunk on wine. Both of the daughters said to each other,”Let‘s sleep with our father to preserve our family line.” They both slept with him and both of them ended up getting pregnant with sons. I didn‘t know this happened in the Bible.

I have this reading tracker for 2026. I love it. You should buy one if you want one. It‘s easy to fill in. I don‘t fill mine in every day. I only fill it in if I‘m reading books throughout the month or if I get accepted for new ARCs. Whatever doesn‘t get filled in during the month, I‘ll fill it out at the end of the month. I think it helps me keep up with ARCs and the books I‘m reading during the month.

For #takethreethursday, I‘m talking about the food I grew up eating. I‘m a Millennial. I was born in 1990. I had to google what foods Millennials grew up with because I couldn‘t remember. There was a lot out there. I remember eating a lot of the foods that were mentioned in the Google screenshot. I also grew up eating cereal and drinking Coke and eating Pop Tarts and candy. I remember eating Long John Silver‘s too. I was a little girl in the 90‘s.

I asked Google if it‘s okay to buy books and not read them right away and this is what Google said. I don‘t use Libby very much. I got some Barnes & Noble gift cards for Christmas so this is the perfect time for a shopping spree and because I‘m a Rewards member, I get stamps every time I shop with them.

Here‘s my progress on my devotional and bible reading. I‘ve made progress. I‘m not in a hurry to finish reading these two books because they‘re supposed to be read throughout the year. I‘m enjoying both books. I like how the daily bible was set up and that it explains what‘s going on. It feels very approachable for me because I‘m getting back into reading the Bible again. I also like the animal devotional so far too.

I‘ve decided that I want to finish reading this series for #serieslove2026. I really enjoyed the first book but I never continued with this series. I was having a hard time deciding between this contemporary romance series or an MMA romance series. I think I would enjoy this series. I will be rereading the first book so I can continue with this series. Hopefully, I‘ll be able to get around to reading it this month.

I filled out some pages in my 2026 Novelly Yours reading tracker. I made some reading goals for myself, picked some book series I want to finish and picked some backlist and older books on my bookshelf that I want to read and chose books I want to read for the 26 in 26 challenge. It was hard to decide which 26 books to pick because I might not read all 26 books. It‘s hard to say. I guess it could be considered a list of possibilities.

I‘ve decided that I‘m going to start this book next. We‘re reading this for the #litsyirregulars book club. Our book club reads books inspired by Sherlock Holmes. Our discussion for this book is on January 31 so I need to read it this month. I‘m interested in reading this.

Here‘s my review for this book I finished reading at 4 AM. I was very tired yesterday from going out to lunch but I was ready to finish this book because it was sitting on my currently reading shelf on Goodreads for too long.

Here‘s my progress on the #realmofelderlings buddy read. I‘ve read Assassin‘s Apprentice and I just finished reading Royal Assassin. I‘m going to take a break from Fitz for a while by reading some other books and then when I‘m ready, I‘ll start reading Assassin‘s Quest.

I just finished this book. I‘ll have a review posted online tomorrow. I‘m too tired to write a review tonight. I have the last book in this trilogy to read next that also follows Fitz but I‘m going to read something else because I want to take a break from Fitz for a while. When I‘m ready, I‘ll start the next book.

I participated in #serieslove2025 and I finished reading 5 series that I had in progress. I wish I could‘ve read more series because I have a spreadsheet full of series I have in progress but I was able to delete 5 series from that spreadsheet so I‘m happy about that. One of my goals that I try to work on every year is to finish series.

I‘ve also decided to start reading this devotional. I own this version of this devotional but I also have the 2025, 2026 editions too. I‘m starting with the 2024 edition since I never read it in 2024. I like this devotional so far. This devotional will take me all year to read.

I‘ve decided that I want to read the Bible for a year this year. I have this Daily Bible from Guideposts that I bought a year ago. I‘ve started reading it and so far, I like how it‘s written. I read the whole bible back when I was a teenager. I had a study bible for teenagers that I was reading but it wasn‘t very engaging to read. This one is different because it‘s written in a way that you can read it from the beginning to the end.
