Yay! I was approved for this book on Netgalley but I forgot that I requested it. This one sounds interesting. I haven‘t requested anything else on Netgalley in a while. I‘ve stopped requesting books on there. This is the only book I requested and forgot about. I‘ll read this book when I read it. It just won‘t be before publication day.

Yay! I was approved for another ARC. I‘m still behind on reading the ones I‘ve been sent from The Smuthood PR but I keep signing up for them. However if it‘s something I‘m not interested in, I won‘t sign up for it.

@AllDebooks has created this new group called @TheLittensSociety and I think it‘s a great idea. I‘ve decided that I want to participate and it‘s postage free. I just wanted to share this for anyone who‘s interested.

I saw this on Facebook and thought it would be fun to post it here as a question for everyone on here to answer. I‘ll answer first. I would read at this location. It looks very relaxing.

I got a friend request today from a General on Goodreads. I ignored it. He‘s not a real General. Real Generals from the military don‘t have time to go online, send friend requests and chat with people. Do these fake Generals think women online are stupid enough to fall for this? I know better than to fall for this. If a General sends you a friend request online, don‘t fall for it. They‘re not a real General.

I forgot to mention that my mom and I have been raising Monarch Butterflies. We‘ve never done it before. We bought milkweed plants not expecting anything to happen. We had 10 caterpillars before but we lost a lot of them. 3 butterflies emerged today. 2 of them are gone. 1 butterfly is just hanging out in my backyard. It hasn‘t left yet. We have another pupae just hanging out. We don‘t know when this one will emerge.

It feels weird not having a short story to read from Sherlock Holmes but I‘m joining the #pastichebr and #litsyirregulars to read books inspired by Sherlock Holmes. I think that would be really fun. I haven‘t ever read any stories inspired by Sherlock Holmes.

I saw this picture on Facebook of Ozzy and Sharon from 1985. They look so different. My brother was born in 1985. I was born in 1990 so I wasn‘t born yet. I wanted to share this picture with everyone participating in the #princeofdarknessreadalong.

For #tuesdaytunes, this is my song history from Amazon music. Two songs I listened to recently that I never heard before were: Mine by Sleep Token and Changes by Black Sabbath. I liked Mine and I liked Changes. I heard Yungblud sing Changes for the Ozzy Osbourne tribute at the MTV VMAs recently and I didn‘t care for his version so I decided to play the original version because I‘ve never heard it before. Sleep Token is a new artist to me.

I haven‘t started reading this month‘s book yet. I saw this on my Instagram feed, reposted it to my Instagram account and wanted to share it with everyone participating in #christiescapers because I thought it was cool to see. I didn‘t know there was an Agatha Christie statue.

I saw this picture of David Muir and his dog on his Instagram account and I wrote today‘s #haiku about him. I watch David every night on ABC World News from 5:30-6:00 PM CT. Every time he says,”Good night. I‘ll see you tomorrow” at the end of his newscast, I say it back to him in a high pitched voice. He‘s on our TV in the living room and he can‘t hear me but I say it anyway.

Ozzy Osbourne Tribute at the MTV VMAs tonight. Did you watch it? If you watched it, what did you think? I thought the tribute was good. My mom said she thought that YUNGBLLUD wasn‘t the right person to sing Ozzy‘s songs because he doesn‘t sound like Ozzy and I agree with that but there‘s only one Ozzy.

I also have this to share with everyone participating in the #princeofdarknessreadalong. The MTV Video Music Awards is gonna be doing a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne on Sunday according to this post from their Facebook page. It‘s gonna be on CBS & Paramount+ 8 pm ET, 5 pm PT and 7 pm CT.

For everyone participating in the #princeofdarknessreadalong, this audiobook is being released November 11th. I saw it on Spotify and pre-saved. It‘s written by a guy who was friends with Ozzy for 40 years. It might be interesting to read.

I have United Healthcare and they have this self care app that‘s available to use at no additional cost. I use it to track my mood. It has guided meditations. I haven‘t used the guided meditations and I don‘t always check in with it everyday. Sometimes, I skip days if I don‘t feel like checking in with myself and if I feel fine. I don‘t know if it‘s meeting my needs but maybe it‘s because I‘m not using the guided meditations.

Here‘s my progress on this summer reading challenge I‘m participating in. I haven‘t said anything about this in a while. I‘m still working on it and I will be working on it past the September 1 deadline. It‘s interesting seeing the kind of books I‘ve read for this challenge so far.

I‘ve noticed recently when listening to these Agatha Christie books on Audible that Richard Armitage stopped narrating them. He only narrated a few of them and then he stopped. Now the only narrator I‘m listening to is Hugh Fraser. Hugh Fraser has a nice voice but I got used to listening to Richard Armitage. I miss Richard Armitage‘s voice. I wish he would‘ve continued narrating these stories.
