I like this book so far. It has so much information just like you would expect from National Geographic but it‘s very interesting reading the history. I‘m now up to chapter 4: Magi, Witches & Occult Societies. I would like to keep reading this book tonight but I‘m feeling really tired. I didn‘t get enough sleep last night and I couldn‘t stay in bed all day today because my mom and I had our dentist appointment this afternoon.
Yay! Maybe I should stop signing up for ARCs from The Smuthood PR because I‘m behind on reading them but I‘ve enjoyed the books I get to read from them. This is the second book in the Rock City Renegades series. This is a football romance series. The first book I read was Mr. Irrelevant and I liked that one. The second book is following Emmett and Stella. I don‘t know if I remember who they are or not.
This is my journal entry for today. This is for #whatsnewwednesday but I‘m posting it on Thursday since my mom and I had our dentist appointments today.
This week‘s #threelistthursday quiz asks the question “What Halloween candy have you tried?”. My score was 72 of 100 - 72%. I made a list of the candy I like and another list of the candy I don‘t like.

I decided to start this book. I own the hardcover edition with the pictures in it and I own the audiobook on Audible. The audiobook has a PDF file of the pictures from the book but I don‘t think it‘s the same as having the book in front of you sitting in your lap. I looked at the pictures while the audiobook was playing and I like it so far. I think it‘s very interesting. The hardcover book is a coffee table book but it‘s very nice.
Here‘s my review for the book I read for the #pastichebr. The #litsyirregulars book club is reading books that are inspired by Sherlock Holmes. It‘s hosted by @dabbe & @Cuilin . Everyone is welcome to join us. We finished reading the Sherlock Holmes stories together this year and it was so fun.

I saw this news about MTV recently and I took a screenshot of the music channels that are being removed. I‘m disappointed because their name means Music Television but they don‘t play music and they haven‘t in a long time. They‘ve been playing reality shows more than anything. I read that the reason they‘re shutting down their music channels is because they‘re losing money.

I went walking on Friday in my neighborhood on my favorite walking trail. I wrote about it in the Journal app on my phone and took pictures of these birds that I saw.
I saw this graphic about walking on Facebook and wrote about my experience with walking.

I started this book last night because I‘m participating in the #pastichebr with the #litsyirregulars book club and I don‘t know what to think about this book. I‘ve never read this author before but it feels like it was written in the same style as the Sherlock Holmes stories. I liked the stories but I don‘t know if I like this or not. Maybe it‘s because I‘m comparing this to the stories but it‘s hard not to compare them.

I‘m on the Fable app and I‘m in several book clubs on there. Fable changed the way the book clubs are organized. What do I think about this new change? I don‘t like change. It‘s different. It‘ll take me time to get used to it.
I made this #roll100 graphic for myself to help me keep track of how I‘m doing. I have a spreadsheet with my #roll100 books on it but I wanted a visual way of keeping track too. I like this. It‘s October now and I don‘t know if I‘ll get all 100 books read because there‘s some months when I wasn‘t able to read all of my picks but I‘ve made some progress already. I‘m doing good. I‘m curious to see how this will look at the end of the year.
I haven‘t posted anything about the #30booksin3months reading challenge in a while. I‘m still working on it.

Libro FM has an Indie Bookshop Appreciation Sale going on right now but it‘s only going on until October 13. I just purchased 5 audiobooks from them for $21.
Here‘s my review for this book I just finished for the #christiescapers buddy read. This was the September short story. I can start this month‘s short story for the buddy read since I‘m caught up now.

In my Fall devotional from Guideposts today, I highlighted this. I think starting a gratitude journal is a great idea. I‘ve never done that before.
Here‘s my #roll100 October picks. I started Mystery Of The Blue Train for #christiescapers in September but I will finish it this month.
