Read for the #PDR #PrinceOfDarknessReadAlong founded by @BookwormAHN - I looked high and low for my farewell concert ticket (before Ozfest started) with no luck but have I been on memory lane today. I realize I have a lot of pictures for ransom of old Highschool friends, texted a few out to jostle the nerves - ha ha ha ha ha (imagine Crazy Train intro…) anyways, I enjoyed this book again and look forward to a chat about it.

#wedonotcare that dinner should have went in the oven and we went out the door for a walk instead. I walk (knit, read, etc) so I don‘t kill people. The country feels like a spiraling shit storm and I‘m tired. I was grumpy all day and can‘t wait to go to bed for a reset.

It‘s a rainy day but a gift card funded book spree picked me right up. The lovely bookstore is a bit niche. Books I didn‘t know I needed are often the best kind.
Feeling down on myself a little today and Brene pulled me right out of my shit. I need to internalize all of her genius. If I remember nothing but “Be authentic”…can‘t get better than that 🥰

It‘s been a fortnight of Stephen King. I finished his latest book about the Finder‘s Keeper‘s detective agency, finished socks my daughter requested with yarn inspired by The Green Mile and I saw The Life of Chuck today. 💚 Trifecta!

We do not care if we took a nap today. The air conditioning was broken at the library I part time at. It was 85 INSIDE! A regular, and not generally creepy, fella said “you‘re hot!” And we laughed. I was tired after all the sweating while joking about being dewy, because I wasn‘t. 🥵🤣😴

1. Games! I have always loved games. Favorite indoor would have been rummy with grandma. Or Monopoly with a girlfriend - literal marathons!
