Very quick read. Nice to have decent representation of mental health professionals.

I loved this! Great discussion on family and lots of thrillery moments.
I really liked the ending and the characters. Got me in the mood for more family thrillers.
Low pick. 3.5 stars. Good mystery with some predictable moments and some not so predictable.
Loved this isolated thriller with a twist! Great characters and interesting discussions about the ethics and complications associated with cloning. First ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ of the year!
My #botm pick for January! Into thrillers at the moment so looking forward to this one.
Definite pick. The authors state that they wanted to created a space opera that focused on what could happen in between now and when humans are truly roaming the galaxy. I like how this reflected in the technology. The characters were enjoyable and some of them grew on me as the book went on. There were many aspects of the plot that I was not expecting. I had a hard time after about 400 pages with finishing it just because it seemed a bit long.
Got a wood book box recently. I want to decorate it in a bookish way. Ideas??
Has anyone tried www.paperbackswap.com ? Just curious if it is worth it to try?
I was not expecting to feel so seen in the first few sentences. Vibes for this Sunday night, for sure!
4.5/5 stars Loved it!! I was captivated and so confused soon after part 1 was over. More than a romance and very good!
Just finished part one... and WHAT IS GOING ON? People weren't kidding when they said this is more than just a space romance.
Enjoyed this listen on my way to and from work this week. Easy listen.
After Parasite by Darcy Coates, I'm in the mood for some sci-fi!
The story was good and I liked the concept. Very fast read. The publication had quite a few typos which irked me. Stuff like getting names wrong even.
Next up. This is by the same author as my all time favorite book!
This one was weird to me. I feel like I should have liked it more than I did. Honestly, I am a bit disappointed, but it wasn't a bad book. It kept me reading. I'm just left a little sour.
#2021 I thought it would be fun to make a #tierlist for all my 2021 books. Props to anyone who gets the first tier reference. ;-) =D

Starting this one as a buddy read on StoryGraph. Trying out the new feature from them.
Cute historical fantasy romance. I love how proper Holmberg writes her characters.

My first time reading through this one and I loved it! I have a hard time with classics, but like nonfiction, I think it makes it easier for me to listen to them.
#12booksof2021 #November
I didn't finish many books in November, so this is a bit out of necessity. Still, a great Harry Potter!
#12booksof2021 #October
My second Darcy Coates book and what got me to want to read many more by her!
Soft pick. I think I just am not a huge fan of short stories. Not enough time to get invested.
#12booksof2021 #September
Reread the first three Harry Potter books while listening to The Restricted Section podcast. Very cool experience!
#12booksof2021 #August
This was a book club read and I loved it!! It made me cry like no book this year did.
#12booksof2021 #July
Really loved this ghosty story. I was just disappointed that there weren't more in the series than just the two books.
#12booksof2021 #June
Excellent! Lots of LGBTQIA+ rep, which I enjoyed.
#12booksof2021 #May
Wasn't my favorite of the year, but a decent fantasy. This one did the thing that I struggle with for many fantasy worlds. Why CREATE a world where women are second class citizens? Are authors really that uncreative? But it was still pretty interesting and got me started on my audiobook kick.
#12booksof2021 #April This one started out slow, but ended up being very interesting.
Waiting for Litsy to add this book.
#12booksof21 #March This was my best March read. It was short, but I loved the Autism rep in it and the way the characters interacted.
#12booksof2021 #February Spinning Silver was my first new favorite of 2021 and I am currently rereading it! This one was so good and I am noticing even more the second time around.
#12booksof2021 #January
This was my best book in January in 2021. I loved the characters and the way they handled challenges. Very entertaining, but also easy to read since it was middle grade. I asked for the entire box set for my birthday.
Anybody know of any other Christmas books that are not romance-centric? Or even no romance at all?
Trying this out next in my search for non-romance Christmas books!
Finally another Christmas book that is not centered on romance. Cute little novella, but boring sometimes.
Great atmospheric wintery read. I felt the cold. I did guess some of the plot, but was very entertained.
Started this one today and am totally hooked!
Very weird book, but a decent classic dystopian. Not as good as 1984.
Do any of you ever stop reading what you're in the middle of to read a recently hauled book? I am debating on doing just that!
Then it gives me stuff like this that I love. 🤷♀️
