Such a satisfying end to the third book in this series. I didn‘t know how they were going to wrap it up. I thought “surely, it can‘t end this way?!” Then it all came home beautifully 🥹 can‘t wait to start Map of Days!

Absolutely loving this series! 🥸 I have to purchase the sixth book yet but time to start the fourth book of miss peregrines home for peculiar children series, map of days. Library of souls was good but the ending was the most capturing and attention grabbing part of that book. The ending had me on the edge of my seat the entire time and I could NOT put the book down, kept reading past 2 in the morning until I finished the book.

This was a really great read. This had me really excited about what was going to happen. The twist in the story really caught me off guard. I can‘t wait to see what happens in the rest of the series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

March reads!
Jan 31 #BeginsWith Library I have enjoyed doing the challenge this month, I have TRR books added to my list including this series. @Eggs @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks
New year book haul . Nothing like starting the year with a trip to the bookstore:) Happy New year everyone ✨
The last two months I didn't read anything ~at all~ mostly because I was fostering these two puppies for an NGO. Now they are both grown up and adopted 😊
I finally finished what I thought was the last book in the series. Honestly, I didn't love it. The first two books are waaay better. I also don't like it when too many new characters/places are added so close to the end.
Should I read Map of Days?
It had become one of the defining truths of my life that, no matter how I
tried to keep them flattened, two-dimensional, jailed in paper and ink, there would
always be stories that refused to stay bound inside books.
It's been a while since I last read book 2, but I'm definitely going to finish this series
It's my intention finsh all the sagas I have started. And this is one. I love this third volume!

Again amazing, lots of action and danger on this one. I love this series ❤
Not that I need to add to my TBR list... but I want too😂📚
Tag them below!!🤍 (I‘m a sucker for anything magical/mystical/supernatural)
The ends of the earth, the depths of the sea, the darkness of time, you have chosen all three. - E. M. Forster
Book 14🎵👂🏻- 5⭐️
This is definitely my favourite one yet!! Really kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time✨
The ending had my emotions on a roller coaster🎢 I was furious, sad, happy, I even cried a little💧
Can‘t wait to listen to book 4!
& the final book (6th) is set to release Feb 2021! No time to waste!🎶
I love this setting, the characters, the villains, and the magic system. My only issue with these books is despite how deeply interesting they are...they can‘t hold my interest for a long time. However, that feeling isn‘t enough to dissuade me from continuing the series. The plot, character development, world building, and atmosphere compete heavily with Riggs‘s writing style and win out. The ending didn‘t feel rushed or easy—tenterhooks!
Half done with book 3 re-read
Well, that was smart. I inhaled the first three books and what will I do now until the others are available on Overdrive, unless I want to spend quite a bit...
This one was excellent! So many excellent twists and turns and background stories. I loved it so much. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I want to be busy reading, but I have to work 🙁
These books are so peculiar but I‘m definitely getting into them more. I think this is the best so far, good story line and a satisfying conclusion. The photos are great - add a dimension to the story, although they can feel forced on occasion.
I finally finished this after starting it a year ago (no idea why I stopped reading it 🤷♀️), and it might be my favorite in the series! The ending is incredible. Pictured is Addison, one of my favorite characters ♥️
An excellent ending to a great series! I read through this so quickly the first time that I didn't really remember a lot if it. Another cast of wonderful characters (Mother Dust was an instant favorite) and incredible world building that still impresses me! I can't wait to finally get to Map of Days!
I absolutely loved this book. Ransom Riggs has done a wonderful job developing a story and putting it so beautifully together. The pictures in this book gave a sense of reality to the story. This is my favourite book from this series. I loved the plot twists. It is overall a wonderful series to get lost in...
In the final book of the Peculiar Children trilogy, Jacob and his friends enter a hellish loop to fight the powers that would destroy them, using their own peculiar talents.
Read May 3-5
Book 25/55
Finally I have free time to read, huh!
”There would always be stories that refused to stay bound inside books”
Just unboxed the February Bookish Box... not to sure how I feel about it. I absolutely love the quote on the shirt but I was really upset to get another purple shirt from them. Sadly, the bookmark is probably my favorite but it doesn‘t even line up in design properly with their other bookmarks like advertised 🤷♀️

This was a great trilogy! I read all three in about week, I could not put them down. The pictures we're so interesting and I love how they didn't make it feel like a childrens book. You didn't feel like you were reading a young adult book. Such fascinating books I recommend the whole trilogy.
On to the next!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 /5 stars I think this may be my favorite book of the series so far! I love being able to go on Jacob's journey as his abilities grow and he learns to use them. Also the moments between Emma and Jacob are so sweet. I just got the fourth book and am excited to continue this series!
Reading Rivalry Review #RrButFirstCoffee
This was the third book in the Miss Peregrine‘s Peculiar Children series. It continues Jacob and Emma‘s hunt for Miss Peregrine and their peculiar friends. Lot of vivid descriptions and adventures as well as new characters. The ending seems to end the series so I am curious to read the latest book.
My new R2D2 plush is proud to stand by this book! 4 stars! As usual an amazing story where Jacob and Emma go through a lot to try and save their friends. Loved when he controlled the Hollows. Really great ending and looking forward to the next book coming out.
Excellent conclusion. Love this series. Is there going to be a second and a third movie??
Well, I pushed through and finished it. I did need to know how Jacob's story ended. It got a little better, the bridge heads were great, but much of it felt forced. For example the pictures. In the first they seemed to inspire the story. Here they were far less interesting. Take this one for example. And what 16 year old boy from Florida would ever call someone a lout?
I have a problem. I started this the other night, got through the first chapter (about 60 pages) and I don't really care. I can't decide if I should push on or put it aside. The same thing happened when I read Hollow City. I read some but put it down and didn't look back for a year. Maybe I'm over Jacob Portman's adventures. Anyone read it? Does anything happen that might pull me in?
And so the #PeculiarChildren trilogy ends. [I know there‘s a new book coming out this fall; I‘ll definitely add it to my hold requests at the library when it becomes available.]
While I‘m still annoyed by the tokenism of Jacob and his family‘s Jewishness, overall it‘s a good series with interesting characters. This book was a good conclusion to the adventure started in book one.

This is where I am leaving this readathon, didn‘t go as planned but it was fun anyway. Enjoy the rest of your reading time! :)
6-24-18: 24th finished book of 2018! Did you guys know that even though this was a trilogy, the author has decided to continue and announced a 4th book will be out in the fall?! 👏🏼📖👍🏼#️⃣👏🏼2️⃣4️⃣
I remember really liking the first book and thinking the second one was just ok, but I couldn‘t get into this last one at all. The narrative was sloppy and simplistic with lots of loose ends, and the found photo concept just felt forced. I heard he‘s releasing a fourth one which I‘ll definitely be skipping.
