I actually had kind of a love/hate experience with this book, but I enjoyed a lot of it and am glad to have finally read it.

In the meantime, read on!
I LOVED this book, but I don't feel like I can give it 5⭐️ because it is for such a randomly specific group of people -women who were born between about 1972-1982 & read a lot as kids. That's it. I'm in that group, & it is perfection for me. I get to read a bunch of essays about YA books from when I was a kid, 80% of which I have already read approximately 36 times each. It was like getting together with a group of my friends and waxing nostalgic.
#30junebooks #shelves @howjessreads These are just a couple of my dozens of bookshelves. Let‘s just say I am a preferred customer at IKEA 😛
UK Littens, I request your advice! I'm looking for a VFM slot shelf system. Anyone have any experience of purchasing/fitting/using this type of shelving?
One of six bookshelves in my house. My husband will put one together begrudgingly, but he will anytime I ask. He is a keeper. Most of the books on the shelf have not been read. For me it‘s like the feeling of 10-year-old gets sitting next to a Christmas tree full of wrapped packages each one a wonderful present, yet to be discovered! #bookcollector #prettybooks #toberead
This delightful book of essays covers a ton of teen books from the 70s and 80s. Spoilers abound, but I don‘t mind— if I hadn‘t already picked up that particular Lois Duncan, I doubt I will in the future. I‘m binging on these right now, but I may save the second half of the book to dip in and out of later, since these make great comfort reads.
Day 1 @CaliforniaCay #sisforseptember #shelfie of my living room book case. I'm in need of more shelves.

I really need to invest in some book shelves.
Since I haven't been home a lot recently I haven't gotten the chance to take a #shelfie so I took this one yesterday at my girlfriends aunts house. Her cousin is an avid reader so I knew I could get a good shot #marchinbooks #green #readingresolutions
A #shelfie of most of my doublestacked TBR shelves. At a low guesstimate, I have at least 340 books waiting to be read. Is that a lot?😋 #24in48 #readathon
The top row (and some of the bottom) is my TBR shelf. It used to be both full shelves so I'm a little proud of my progress. #shelfie #riotgrams @bookriot
Here's the shelf in the living room, a constant "WiP" @thegirlwiththelibrarybag
There are books behind the Star Wars mini-busts, I swear. 😉#FunFridayPhoto #shelfie
I think we need another bookshelf... 😳

My room is too small to back up & get a decent photo, but I do love this pair of bookcases that my dad made for me a few years ago. Now if I could just persuade him to make me a window seat!

#booknerdproblems not enough shelf space! I will have my library in order by Friday....so this is the before pic!! 📚❤️
This is such a fun book--it brought back to mind the many teenage books I adored. It was so interesting to remember how intently I made those books part of my (secret) emotional life. I read with distance now but some of these are woven into my personality.
Just found this book, a "reading memoir" about "The Teen Classics We Never Stopped Reading," in my old room at my mom's. I'd forgotten about it! (It even has a Borders sticker -- nostalgia!)
