New baby alert lol!

I have been considering a move away from Kindle and the Amazon walled garden for a while.

Then I read that the newest Kindles that came out a few months ago had quietly removed the ability to readily download books to PC, from which users are then able to port them to the eReader they choose.

More importantly, though I'm in the UK, I am sicked by the actions of 🍊 and his billionaires and voting with my feet.

My completed #WickedWords for February. Definitely the quickest I‘ve found all five.

I only read 4 books in January. I admit I wasn't really in the mood. In the beginning of January, I was sick, on the 18th I attended a funeral of a cousin that I had never met, & on the 21st it snowed. Lukey loved the snow.
My favorite book this month was The Shining 🖤

Tonight is the anniversary of my uncle's suicide. I'm handling it better than I have in the past (it's the 14th year). I still have anxiety in certain situations. I'm also in a fibromyalgia flare and on my period to top it all off. I'm thankful for my online friends, on all my platforms, for being there. Tell your people you love them before you can't.

I can‘t really choose just one, so here are 3 authors whom I‘ve been reading a lot of lately and admire their work!

I‘m looking for book recommendations for my nearly 9 year old nephew‘s birthday in April. I‘m struggling with this age range a bit. I think it‘s because I lean toward spooky, mystery and fantasy and most of my historical fiction picks are YA.

I‘m tagging a few of you who might have suggestions, but I would appreciate any suggestions!

I couldn't find a 2025 planner with all the bells and whistles that I needed, or they were too expensive...I therefore decided to make my own. A desk version and one for my handbag.

If anyone is having difficulty finding a new planner this year, perhaps you can also make your own. You can even use store bought stickers to decorate your cover.
