Fun, quick read…makes me want to get on a plane to Hawaii on this chilly November morning!
Olive and Ethan wind up taking their siblings honeymoon. Olive‘s identical twin sister married Ethan‘s brother and everyone gets sick at the wedding except these two. Thrust on a dream vacation where they have to pretend to be together and in love, the two find that maybe they don‘t hate each other as much as they thought.
It‘s sooo cute, it‘s fake dating, it‘s enemies to lovers, it‘s introverts. It‘s I wish it never ended
I loved it! Maybe I‘ve found my next Abby Jimenez 🤞🤔. Off to request the backlog of Christina Lauren books from the library.
This is my first book by these authors and I loved it! I have been in a romcom mood and this one was perfect! Not too cheesy, not too spicy! I‘m looking forward to more from these authors! 💛📚🩷

Loved this follow up novella featuring the sister of the terrible wedding in The Unhoneymooners.
Curled up on the couch and starting this one today!
Book # 79
4/5
The Honeymoon Crashers (not listed on Litsy for some reason).
This sequel, of sorts, to Unhoneymooners, is a good Romance read. As a disclaimer, Romance novels aren't typically my thing, but I've read a few by Christina Lauren, and they do not disappoint. I recommend reading Unhoneymooners first, but this one would also work as a stand-alone.
Reread The Unhoneymooners (originally read in 2019) in prep for the audio original sequel of The Honeymoon Crashers (submitted to Litsy for add 9/19/23)
Very cute, but not sure I loved the audio version, felt forced or something but the story was a cute open door romance (first was closed door) and written from Ami's perspective instead of Olive's.
Since I couldn't tag this book I will tag the 1st book.
Finally able to knock out a good chunk of this today while I did work around my house. I much rather would be reading it (I probably would've finished by now if I was) but since it is only available on audio right now I guess I will make do. Plus...Harry Shum Jr as a voice actor, yes please!
Fun sequel to The Unhoneymooners - not in database

It‘s been four years and hundreds of books since I read the the Unhoneymooners and I still remember this story. When I saw there was a 5 hour audio (narrated by Harry Shum Jr) with updates on Ami & Dane and Olive & Ethan, I had to know what happened over these last 4 years. It did not disappoint! …Also, this was the rom-com that saved me from certain ugly tears on an airplane as I was reading Go As A River (my last post). ↓
This book is comical! I literally laugh out loud on some parts. Love a refreshing rom-com, especially when I‘ve read such dark novels before this. The constant banter between Olive and Ethan is ridiculous.
This was my first Christina Lauren book and I liked it! It was fun and engaging. It had enemy to lovers and Hawaii. Though there wasn't many details about the setting, the places that were mentioned made my heart warm since I was there too. I do admit that the whole situation with the brother did make me lose a little love for this book. BUT... overall I enjoyed it.

I loved the way the story develops. A twin story with different personalities and different luck. Do you think people is lucky or unlucky or luck is something we make by ourselves?
I searched my shelves and I found a book that I have not read before (yes, I haven't read The Honeymooners yet). And since the characters are going to Maui, Maluma's Hawái came to mind.

Had some seriously laugh out loud moments with this one! 5/5 stars ⭐️
read: march 9, 2023
a wonderful, lighthearted enemies-to-lovers with some really fun and romantic scenes. i enjoyed myself while reading so much i couldn‘t put it down all day! ah i love love! i‘m not sure if i really enjoyed the climax all that much; the turning point with the antagonist went on for so long and it really just made me want to punch a wall. i was so frustrated! but the epilogue! pure joy and pure love and wow i hate being single.
“We‘re not supposed to be carbon copies of our siblings… even when we are outwardly identical.”
-Ethan, Page 264
Olive and her attractive enemy, Ethan, go on her twin sister‘s honeymoon b/c the sister and the groom get sick. During the trip, they get rather close and realize their feelings for each other. Can they put the past behind them though?
I didn‘t really get the hype for this book. I liked the diversity in the characters, but not the characters themselves, especially Ethan. It had a happy ending, and I liked it, but not really how it got there.
Omg… I absolutely loved and hated this book!😂 you know it‘s a good one when you feel all the things!
This one has been picked for the #TrappedonanIsland more months than once, including this one, so I decided it was time to finally read it!! It's been on my shelf since it was gifted to me by @Chrissyreadit back in August 2020!!
This was a fun enemies-to-lovers/fake relationship read, although I did get a lot of secondhand stress when various lies were being enacted! I really loved the banter between these two characters, and felt like most of ⬇
Trying to get back into the #WeeklyForecast groove!! The top pic is my current TBR, a mixture of challenge reads and random books from my list/shelves. I started the tagged last night. It's been a #TrappedonanIsland book multiple times, including this month, so I think it's time!! Salt & Sorrows and the Heyer are both #LMPBC reads ( @julieclair I forgot to tell you it arrived yesterday!!) and I am hoping to get to them this week. Save the Date ⬇️
@TheAromaofBooks you‘re trapped on an island with 5 great books! I wasn‘t familiar with some on your list, and I enjoyed reading about each of them. I picked two I enjoyed and 3 that sounded interesting. Enjoy! #TrappedonanIsland @aperfectmjk
The typical 'from hate at first meeting to loving you forever' trope. As much as I dislike cliche romance tropes, the book was decent enough to not 'DNF' it. A mix of a couple of relatable and a couple of absolute jackass characters. A quick casual yet enjoyable read.

Rom com is my least fav genre. But wanted to read something light& funny before starting #october dark #TBR story line was funny and engaging but I couldn‘t connect to most of the characters. Like the part about the family. Overall an uplifting read with a good measage. 3.5⭐️ #readathon 9hrs

There was some problematic things about this story, but for the most part it was a fun listen.
Adorable and fun, with just enough snark. Everything I want in a romcom!

Having to take your sisters honeymoon holiday with your enemy (the best man from her wedding)....and worse yet having to pretend to be newlyweds to enjoy all the benefits of the honeymoon your sister won....a fun enemies to lovers chicklit read. ⭐⭐⭐#christinalauren #theunhoneymooners #goodreads #litsy #thestorygraph #tea_sipping_bookworm #bookqueen #bookstagram #chicklit #amazonkindle
Book #40 for 2022 done! I love Rom-Com's but had gotten burned out on them because they can become very predictable. This book broke that curse for me, it was adorable, funny and relatable. Highly recommend
Finished my first #trappedonanisland book!
This was my first Christina Lauren book and I really enjoyed it. Having just been to Hawaii, there were a few things that stuck out to me. No way they weren‘t jet lagged going there and I don‘t think they ever put on sunscreen 🤣.
Other than that this book already made me miss Hawaii and I want to go back to Maui. I really liked Olive and Ethan and it really pisses me off when no one believes women.

So many places I love to visit. However Hawaii has always been at the top of my list.
