I‘m back!! Well, at half working capacity but I‘m at least able to listen to audiobooks now. What an awful start to 2024😵‍💫Thank you to everyone who sent well wishes and asked where I was, I‘ve been very ill with a hospital stay & a week long migraine being the highlights. Still having trouble with reading & screens but I‘m trying! Well done too to everyone that‘s participating in #JumpStart2024 I‘ll be around for the rest of the ‘thon👇

I haven't had much time to get on Litsy between work and family shenanigans (why is all my out-of-town family visiting during my busiest time of year?! Get it together, people! 😂) BUT I have still been reading quite a bit, which is great because I really felt like my mojo was lacking for a couple months. This week was a mix of #LMPBC, #LOTRChapteraDay, #KindredSpiritsBuddyRead, and some random books for #Scarathlon. All were enjoyable but ⬇

Bk3 of August & #Rushathon #readathon is done. Finally!! When I dragged myself out of this mini slump, I ended up very much enjoying this book.It‘s Werewolf Satire,if that‘s even a subgenre & was wholly entertaining. With a depressed berserker werewolf teen, a werewolf Enchantress, an interfering Fire Elemental Princess, two drugged out musician werewolves, a cross dressing werewolf king to be,a huge feud & a whole lot of snark,it‘s a wild ride.👇

Expat Americans Gerald and Sara Murphy seemed to socialize with the who‘s who of the 1920‘s- Picasso, Hemingway, the Fitzgeralds, and Dorothy Parker just to name a few. However their generous spirits and zeal for life and art make them equally captivating figures. This biography was very detailed which made it plod along at times but it is a period time I always love reading about. Last book for #fourfoursin23 #glossyposse
