#wondrouswednesday Thanks @Klou @Catsandbooks foe the tags!

1. I really care about my clients. I like that I can help them when they need it
2. Stop throwing things at your bosses (but it was cathartic both times & a hoot when I remember it now)
3. Sneak out of the bedroom so hubs can get a few more minutes of sleep
4. Check Litsy!

Eggs Thanks for playing 👍🏼📚😊 3y
Catsandbooks 2- sounds like there's some interesting stories there 😂 3y
Texreader @Catsandbooks As true for most people I had my share of mean bosses & I had quite a temper in my 20s. The first time the boss made me so mad I threw a floppy disk at him (do you know what those are? 😉). He was known for screaming & firing people on the spot but I was one of his most productive employees so he couldn‘t. I threw my paycheck at a boss a few years later. She couldn‘t fire me either for the same reason. 😁 It pays to be a good worker! 3y
See All 7 Comments
Texreader @Catsandbooks The irony of my stories? I‘m an employment lawyer now and would advise to fire me on the spot no matter how productive I was. We can‘t have employees throwing things at bosses! 😂😂😂 3y
Ruthiella I had trouble keeping my temper as well at work but even up to my thirties ... I‘m glad I‘m more mellow now! It‘s not worth it. 3y
Catsandbooks @Texreader oh the irony!! 😂😂 and yes I do know what floppy disks are. I'm not that young lol. I even remember doing school papers on floppy disks. 💾 3y

DGRachel @LauraBeth Aww, thank you. That means the world to me. 😘😘 5y
LauraBeth Do you have the new John Le Carré yet? 5y
DGRachel @LauraBeth No, I‘m such an idiot. I totally forgot it was coming out on Tuesday, so I forgot to check Park Road Books when I was there. 🤦🏻‍♀️ 5y
LauraBeth This release seemed to slip under the radar for some reason! 5y
DGRachel @LauraBeth I wish I had an excuse, but I‘ve been seeing it for months in the Waterstones emails and I even went looking for it at B&N on Saturday. I just had a brain fart on Tuesday. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Have you read A Legacy of Spies, yet, or The Pigeon Tunnel? I‘m trying not to go on another big book buying spree before Small Business Saturday, so I just have to add this to my wishlist. 🤩 (edited) 5y
LauraBeth I haven‘t!!! ☹️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ 5y
DGRachel @LauraBeth (re)read The Spy Who Came in from the Cold before you read A Legacy of Spies. I wish I had realized how closely related they were, as I think I would have enjoyed A Legacy of Spies more (I loved it, but I'm sure I missed stuff) and The Pigeon Tunnel is one of the very few memoirs/autobiographies I've enjoyed. Le Carre narrates it himself, so I highly recommend the audiobook route for that one. 5y
LauraBeth He is such a treasure. 😀 Thanks for letting me know I should re-read The Spy Who Came In From The Cold First! 5y

4. Carl Sandburg, Mary Oliver, Maya Angelou. Recently bought some Dylan Thomas because I‘m part Welsh and want to know his work.

2. One of Us is Lying by Karen M. McManus.

1. The twins (Ashley & Meredith). They moved in next door when we were all 5 years old. We‘ve been best friends for 32 years. Our parents are still neighbors.

2. Nothing beats a Rocky Mountain sunset.

3. Honeysuckle. It takes me back to childhood with “the twins.” Wild honeysuckle grew/grows along the creek behind our family‘s homes.

4. Recursion

5. Anyone who‘d like to share! 🤗
