1. My new book is called Dragon Genius
2. Dragon Genius sound pretty good to me!
3. I actually have three unfinished novels that I wrote as a teenager but I don't have the discipline or staying-power to finish them
4. I like words so I enjoy writing but it's a private pleasure mostly. Occasionally I write blogs and similar things for work

September 2016
Bookriot article 😁
I‘ve read about the same volume- but definitely more diverse in every way.
Fave authors - Stephen King, Sharon Penman, Robin Hobb, Mark Lawrence, Karin Slaughter, Michael Connolly, John Connolly and a billion more!
I think most people have been tagged and thanks to those who tagged me!

Bklover I joined in September of 2016 as well! 1mo

I haven't done one of these in ages.
*May 2016
*@Liberty mentioned it on the All The Books podcast
*So much more - I went from maybe 24/year to well over 100 books/year
*Ausma Zehanat Khan; mystery, sci-fi, fantasy, historical romance
*Just a couple, off the top of my head, and no offense meant to anyone - @MrBook @TrishB @LauraBeth @LeahBergen @julesG @Cinfhen @dsfisher @RealLifeReading @Andrew65

DGRachel @LauraBeth Aww, thank you. That means the world to me. 😘😘 1mo
LauraBeth Do you have the new John Le Carré yet? 1mo
DGRachel @LauraBeth No, I‘m such an idiot. I totally forgot it was coming out on Tuesday, so I forgot to check Park Road Books when I was there. 🤦🏻‍♀️ 1mo
LauraBeth This release seemed to slip under the radar for some reason! 1mo
DGRachel @LauraBeth I wish I had an excuse, but I‘ve been seeing it for months in the Waterstones emails and I even went looking for it at B&N on Saturday. I just had a brain fart on Tuesday. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Have you read A Legacy of Spies, yet, or The Pigeon Tunnel? I‘m trying not to go on another big book buying spree before Small Business Saturday, so I just have to add this to my wishlist. 🤩 (edited) 1mo
LauraBeth I haven‘t!!! ☹️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ 4w
DGRachel @LauraBeth (re)read The Spy Who Came in from the Cold before you read A Legacy of Spies. I wish I had realized how closely related they were, as I think I would have enjoyed A Legacy of Spies more (I loved it, but I'm sure I missed stuff) and The Pigeon Tunnel is one of the very few memoirs/autobiographies I've enjoyed. Le Carre narrates it himself, so I highly recommend the audiobook route for that one. 4w
LauraBeth He is such a treasure. 😀 Thanks for letting me know I should re-read The Spy Who Came In From The Cold First! 4w

📚 September 2016
📖 Saw a post about Litsy on Instagram (@Cohnina)
📃 More! Far worse is the amount of books I've bought since I joined and my TBR has skyrocketed.
📑 Fantasy, Romance, Sci-fi; Laini Taylor, JKR, Neil Gaiman, Julia Kent

Just tagging a few, I'd love to tag all of you though.

DGRachel Oh yes, the book buying sprees and the exploding TBR are definitely the fault of Litsy! And I agree with @Cinfhen - I love being an “old-timer“ on Litsy and I've loved watching the community grow and evolve. 1mo

Never have I ever...

1. ...traveled without taking at least two books with me.
2. ... finished anything by George R. R. Martin.
3. ... returned a damaged library book without telling a librarian.
4. ... dropped a book in the bathtub.

I'm hesitant about tagging people, so if you're reading this, consider yourself tagged!

DebbieGrillo 🍷 Thanks, I'm a chronic book one finisher. Thanks for playing. 4mo

⚒ August vacation crystal hunting in Arkansas.
⚒ I haven't listened to a lot of new music. I'm really a classic rock girl.
⚒ I cut my long hair really short right before college. I looked 12 and it took forever to grow out.
⚒ Rock hound/amateur geologist
⚒ Top pic is of my armchair kitty Druzy and the lump on the couch is Jezzy. Bottom is my niece Kellyn at her first dance recital.

FantasyChick We go rock hunting every summer!! My bf and his family are really into it so we try to go a few times a year! 5mo
BarbaraTheBibliophage Oh I love watching little kids at their dance recitals! Although, they do last a super long time ... 🤪 5mo

1. God, it feels like a hump day. Washing machine and A/C both died today and we leave town in a day. My current mood is 💩.

We‘ll be spending 1/2 our vacation shopping for new units I bet, but I am looking forward to 4 days of hiking and returning to Pittsburgh for a week! 💙💛
2. Listening to Niyaz a lot lately.
3. The bowl cut
4. Playing VR or board games.
5. Front yard 🌺 , & my daughter and friends w/ Sbux Pink Drink.

Crazeedi You will love coming to Pittsburgh! Three rivers arts festival is happening now! 5mo
4thhouseontheleft @Crazeedi I‘m bummed to miss it! We get there the day after it ends, my sister is actually working the festival this week. Hubby and I are Pitt alumni and I grew up in PA, it‘s like coming home whenever we visit Pgh. 5mo

1. My husband gets home from Texas in 15 days! He‘s been gone for 45 days and we really miss him.
2. The rock band grandson. They‘re amazing! Blood//water and Despicable are my two favorite songs.
3. I had a real unfortunate bowl type cut as a 5th grader.
4. Video games! 🎮
5. Roxie squirrel watching (which woke me up WAY too early) and then her and Aiden taking over my bed!

1. Baby #3 (and girl #1), camping trip to Jacques Cartier next month, family vaca in Jamaica in December
2. I've been blasting this one: https://youtu.be/y2HywN1Zb2M
3. I used to dye my hair, and when I went backpacking in Australia the Outback heat/dry made the old, dry, previously dyed ends of my hair go a word shade of orange. I had to live with it for a couple months because I couldn't afford a proper cut.
4. Board games?
5. 👍
