Tonight was Pumpkins first time at bookclub. Here she is with a couple of my bookclub pals looking very at home! She snored so loudly she actually disrupted the discussion (so rude!)t

Bklover Go Pumpkin! You‘re a cutie pie!💜 4mo

Reggie So awesome! I just went to my first bookclub in years last month and it was such a breath of fresh air. 9mo
Parvez @Reggie Yeah, it's always a joy to be with people who appreciate literature and books in general. I hope you get to share some pics of your book club next time you meet. 9mo

So, I don't know what I have that works. But... I also have no qualms about purchasing (I have Amazon Prime so... I should get things quickly if we go that route.

##LMPBC #GroupR
@LaraReads, @BethM, @Hazel2019

I will tag books in the comments.
Also, I have other poetry stuff.

See All 10 Comments
LaraReads I haven‘t read any of those & I‘m all for whatever. I think scandalous ladies and husband secret both sound good as far as fiction, but I‘m good with going with any of them that you like! Can‘t wait to see eachother‘s thoughts on whatever we choose, so it‘ll be great whichever it is! 9mo
Hazel2019 @BethM @ElizaMarie @LaraReads The Scandalous Ladies of London and On Love sound really interesting! 😁 but I haven‘t read any of these either so I‘ll go with whatever‘s chosen by the group! 9mo
BethM I‘m down for Scandalous ladies! 9mo
LaraReads @ElizaMarie @Hazel2019 @BethM woo hoo! I‘m getting excited! 9mo
ElizaMarie Scandalous Ladies it is :) 9mo

A lovely session with my fellow readers as we discussed a variety of books.

The month's theme for this session was “Unreliable Narrator“ and what better book than Fight Club.

We also discussed 12 rules for life. and Jordan Peterson.

IndianBookworm OMG! Where is this book club organized? I want all the details! 😍 9mo
Parvez @IndianBookworm It's here in Kochi (Kerala), we meet second Saturday of every month. We discuss anything related to books. 9mo
IndianBookworm Wow! I really gotta find something here. 9mo
Parvez @IndianBookworm You are from Kolkata? 8mo

I reclaimed a rolling cart and I‘m going to keep all my #buddyread and real life bookclub books in it. It‘s by my reading chair in the front window where I finished my next section of The Godmothers this morning #sundaybuddyread ( I can not wait for tomorrow to talk about the latest drama) and where I may have bought a few more for #literarycrew from Book Outlet Canada

julieclair Love this idea! 1y
quietlycuriouskate These carts are fabulous. Mine is so laden now it takes a hefty shove to get it rolling! 🙂 1y
ShelleyBooksie Where did u find the Grogu pen? Awesome 1y

mcctrish @julieclair I‘m feeling quite pleased with myself 1y
mcctrish @kathedron I used to use 2 for my TBR but the pandemic sent me over the edge buying books just in case and I haven‘t quite recovered from that. I‘ve upgraded to an actual bookcase now but even that is overflowing, hence this secondary sorting system 😆🤦🏻‍♀️ 1y
mcctrish @ShelleyBooksie I bought it at a Disney store in a mall 1y

My first book club meeting was a smash! We had fun discussing The Good Sister by Sally Hepworth and munching on this charcuterie potluck spread at a winery in hill country. Next up on the list is Apples Never Fall.

@Annie1215 hey sweetie thought I would mention this. With my groups, I use the Mighty Networks app. I love it. If u decide to use it and have any questions, I can try to help u. Also u could talk to @ElizaMarie @AsYouWish and/or @jb72 since they are admins for our groups.

Annie1215 Thanks! I‘ll check it out 😀 3y
AkashaVampie @Annie1215 ur welcome hun 3y
ElizaMarie I find it is much easier to use online (website) than the app itself but.. If I can be of any assistance please don't hesitate to ask :) 3y

Great article in Time Out this week - all about ‘extreme‘ reading!

wanderinglynn What do they consider “extreme reading”? I searched for the article online, but couldn‘t find it. 4y
