Finally getting to this cozy mystery I‘ve been wanting to read for forever!
pickI listened to this and it took me a little while to get used to the narrator's accent. After I did it was a good cozy mystery. Katie joins her aunt and uncle in Savannah to help open their bakery, learns she's a witch, and solves a murder.

This was a really cute cozy mystery. Kate relocated to Savannah to open her bakery shop with her aunt and uncle. When a murder takes place right outside her shop, Katie finds out she's a witch, her parents kept it from her all these years. Her aunt and her band of witchy women help her navigate her new reality.

pickLoved this new to me series. The characters are well developed and the witches and magic flow naturally as part of the story. The mystery is good and kept the story moving. The romance has a triangle but seems to favor one more than another. Looking forward to the next one. #readwomen #audiobook #cozymystery

Everything was a little silly and over the top, but really fun. And I loved the focus on female friendships and older women-younger woman mentorship.
I'm a little tired of love triangles, so that shaded my enjoyment of this book overall. And the ending felt like a ripoff, like the author went back over her draft, found the character least likely to have done the crime, then picked that person. 🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑
My husband thought that Levvy pig needed a light blue fleece because she will never see snow (I‘m pretty sure she never wants to) so I did some audio cleaning today since I am off until the 17th when I start my new job! Yay! #guineapigmom #guineapigsoflitsy #gottastaybusy

pickA bit of a slow listen for me, but enjoyable. I‘ll read more as this book had a lot of set up, and I feel like the series has potential. Plus it‘s @Kshakal ‘s favorite so how can I go wrong?

You have to love an author who can work “prehensile” into a description.
1. Fave dessert?: Tiramisu. Coffee + mascarpone = perfection.
2. Nuts in Brownies (Yes or No)? YES! Hardly anyone makes them with nuts & it makes me sad.
3. Ever gotten a speeding ticket? Yep!
4. What do you listen to in the car? Books/Music/Podcasts?: Audiobooks. Sometimes the radio - especially if it‘s early & I‘m too sleepy to focus. My favorite station is WUMB, out of Boston. I always discover new-to-me folk artists.

Bewitched, Bothered, and Biscotti: A Magical Bakery Mystery”. Setting is in Savannah GA 🍀 which happens to be my fav city in America and is about five hours away from me 💕. Fun, fun read 📚

pickThis is a cute, easy-read cozy mystery. Interesting characters and it took me until quite late to figure out whodunnit. The “witchy” aspect isn‘t overdone. Plus, I definitely plan to try the recipes included.
