Well, this one has some cute scenes very few scenes were funny and so repetitive about what was happening between them. Acting like teenagers but they are in their almost 30‘s? Another boring romance for me even in the “sexy” parts😳🤷🏽‍♀️But a friend read the second book and said it was cute. I will try it because I like Merry character. I liked Nick‘s mother, what a character. There is a long nice songs list at the end

Cute holiday romance, but didn‘t blow me away.

Just about a pick for me, didn‘t enjoy it as much as Along Came Holly, possibly because I didn‘t buy into the main characters as much. Available free on Audible if you are a member.

Finishing off the first week of #WinterReadathon by listening to this book which is only available as an audiobook from Audible, but is free if you are a member. It isn‘t in the database so attached it to one of the other Codi Hall books which is and looks focused around some of the additional characters in this book. Feels a fun read.

Reading it following seeing a review earlier in the Readathon.

Last review for now!! This one had the right ingredients but somehow didn't work for me. First off, look at the title! Look at the cover! Look at the characters' names! Nick's family owns a Christmas tree farm! They live in a town called Mistletoe! And yet! This book didn't feel Christmasy! It was so weird. Most of the story actually centers around drama with Nick's ex, Amber, who also happens to be good friends with Noel's best friend, Gabby. ⬇️

Book not in database. I've used one of the other books in the series as placeholder.

The third Winters child found her HEA with the next door Christmas grump.

Festive and cute #Romance - I especially liked that Holly said what she was thinking and that made for a refreshing novel without the miscommunication trope.

I realize it's March, but this book defies seasons! Nick and Noel felt so real, and their small town had all the classic shenanigans one needs in this kind of book. Occasionally the prose was more "serviceable" than "good," but not to the point where it made the book worse. #romcom #contemporaryromance

This was a cute holiday romance. Nick and Noel are best friends but when they stage a kiss to get back at their exes, something sparks between them. I enjoyed the chemistry of the couple and how Nick was so supportive of Noel's trauma as she worked through her grief.

I didn‘t realize this was connected to the tagged book until I started listening, but tagged was much better. Didn‘t care for either MC of this book, too much “single dad drama,” and the dialogue was too cringe. The narration made it even worse as I was annoyed by both the female and male narrators. The voice put on for the son was so grating.

A really good friends to lovers rom-com…was not expecting all the steam! I did not mind it either! Loved the 2 MCs, but I wanted to throttle Amber throughout the entire book. She was the literal worst! A thumbs holiday read 👍🏻

I didn‘t like this one as much as Merry & Clark‘s story but it‘s still a sweet friends-to-lovers holiday romance.

I was on the struggle bus today. Winter is coming 😝❄️ but listening to my first holiday trash read was a little redeeming, and it was free on Audible!

Another Christmas #bookhaul…from Target and B&N! Gearing up for #wintergames2021!

This was cute. A little sappy and a little sexy. Definitely a bit on the nose with all the holiday themed names and such, but it was a fun, easy listen. Free on Audible for members right now. Three and a half stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

There was a lot I enjoyed in this Audible Original, but it missed the mark for me. The romance obstacles were kind of silly and the holiday-ness was a bit exaggerated with the character and town names. The narrators were a bit annoying. If you like a cheesy holiday romance with some steamy scenes this might be one for you! Ticked off a bunch of bingo squares with this one, though.
