Listened to this while #audiojournaling it wasn‘t a bad insight into Chris Watts personality, but the narrator was awful, which is why it‘s a so-so. 1. Good! I finished the PopSugar Challenge recently and I‘m on track with my Goodreads goal. I‘m still working on my #NonfictionBingo card for 2022.

2. Yes, especially now that I‘ve finished the PopSugar prompts. This is always a goal.

Tarana Burke was the original founder of the #metoo movement. She has worked tirelessly with young black and brown girls that have been victims of sexual assault. Burke is a survivor of sexual assault herself & she has worked to help others through their experiences as she worked through her own trauma. Bk2 for June is done! If my readings not quite back to what it was, at least there‘s light at the end of the tunnel now thank god👍I enjoyed this memoir more than I thought I would, bring back so many memories of what the 80s were like for a teenager. Hello friends!

Looking back on 2021 I‘ve had a hard time motivating myself to read this year. Partly pandemic related, partly being busy, partly just some meh feelings overall. But I‘ve found I‘ve felt most motivated and got the most reading done when I‘m taking part in challenges so I‘d love to do more next year! I‘m already hyped for #booked2021 and I‘d love to learn about any other year long challenges that are running!

Bk8 of August & Bk5 of #AwesomeAugust #readathon is done! Read as an audiobook on Scribd, I finished it today whilst sewing in the ends for my new scarf. I‘m very happy with it, but I‘m not sure if I should make tassels for the ends or leave them alone? The book was horrifying, tragic & very informative. Told from the POV of a few residents of the city, it describes a hellscape I‘m not sure I‘d want to live through.War is hell. #NonFictionBingo👇

Bk10 of March is done! I think I‘ll be adding this to my #TopFiveTrueCrime of all time @Cathythoughts It was well researched, it was personal & it focused at least half of the book on the victims instead of the shooters. Bk7 of March & Bk3 of #MarvellousMarch is finally done! I was having trouble sticking to a book & ended up watching some true crime docos which led me to a reread of this fabulous book. I read a lot of true crime & I can honestly say this is in my top 3.
