Day two of no school, as the roads are still, apparently, a mess. I can‘t find a picture to adequately convey what I mean, so check out this video. It‘s crazy.

😒🤦♀️👎 #Audiobook #Bummer
I got about 4 chpters in & just couldn't continue.
Maybe it was the deceiving bookcover or my preconceived assumptions, but all I know is that I'd been looking forward to some light hearted humor, likable characters & maybe a quirky story.
But I got oppressive, grimy feeling & just plain dull instead.
I considered trying it in print, but my coworker who did read it, said not to waste my time, so I won't. 🤷♀️
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: A bookish adventure complete with a secret society, an evil villain that refuses to embrace technology, and lots of book references. I truly enjoyed this book. It was delightful and one I could easily recommend to almost any reader!
Ughhh! I tried but this was just wayyyy off the rails!! I LOVED Joe, I loved how Caroline Kepnes wrote Joe but this book felt under-baked ~ it was trying to be too many things. This felt more like a debut & not the wit & polish I expected from this author. Also, I‘m not familiar with HP Lovecraft so all the references were over my head. I can‘t even place it under a genre: Sci-Fi ? Coming of Age ? Abduction? Thriller? #Bummer #Not4Me
I may be in the minority here but I just couldn't anymore. Took awhile to get into, it rose super nicely but then it just fell flat. I'm bailing at 250 pages, just feels repetitive the opinion is Mermaids are scary but beautiful. The different perspectives are barely even different. The romance feels forced. The science based conclusions seem rather obvious. I just don't find myself caring. I'm out. #bummer #muchlove #bye
No, library, no! 😢 #bummer #stilllovemylibrary
I'm bummed because I was REALLY psyched to read this... but it irritated me the more I read. Something missing in the world-building, I think. And I really didn't like the kinda-sorta romantic thing between the MC and her love interest, he was kind of an ass. I read that the author usually writes mystery and this is her first fantasy, I feel like that shows.
