I forgot to update the progress on my Wand Shop miniature kit. I finished it over the holidays and love it. For scale this is about 11in x 5.5in x 5.5in

❄️Snow day❄️
I used to read these books all the time in grade school. I got this collection that has all the books in one and can't wait to revisit my childhood.
P.S. Dexter says hi 👋
6% This week was definitely the lowest of all. My top 3 are The Night, 1984 and Of Mice and Men

" All men are born with an axe in their hand, Darling. To take the measure of a man, you just have to pay attention to how he wields it."
I was returning from the grocery store and my daughter's book slid out from under my passenger seat. Between the book, the song and current events....this is quite a coincidence 🤔

I'm set to finish Incidents Around the House and start the next book in the Millennium Series. I threw in a fun romance to breakup all the seriousness of the other two.

I'm working on my book tracker today. My in-laws got me an Ivy mini printer for Christmas & I'm loving it. ❤️
I decided to go small this year for my Journaling
(For scale this journal is 4.3" x 5.7")

I was able to get the 1st book from the library just in time for #EBBR
I have never read or heard of this series, but I am looking forward to reading it and others in the series.

Spicy Book Bracket 2025
For January my spicy pick was Lights Out. It really feeds into the whole Masked Men of TikTok phase and was hilariously funny. I absolutely adored Josh, even if he is a bit crazy.

Top Pick for January is Don't Let the Forest In by CG Drews
I loved this book so much. I thought I figured out one of the mysteries pretty early in the book but near the end I started to question myself. It's a great balance of mystery, supernatural, LQBTQ+, mental health and friendship.

I only read 2 books I owned this month. 😀📚
When I was a kid, I was obsessed with RL Stine's Fear Street books. I'm happy to finally start building my Fear Street collection. Here is what I've been able to find so far second hand. 😀

I watched Coffee & Cults deep dive video on JLo & Diddy this last week, & I can not believe this is not more known. They built JLo's entire music career around stealing other artist's songs, samples & vocals(allegedly). I had always thought it was weird that she didn't sing in the Selena biopic, never sounded the same in any of her songs & was autotuned so much, now I know why. No wonder Mariah called her out so much.

1. Back and forth.
2. Tagged. I was recommended this book a few years back and it honestly helped so much.

Södermalm. A Stockholm neighbourhood where Mikael Blomkvist the MMC of the Millennium Series lives.
I have wanted to visit Sweden and do the Millennium tour since the books came out. ❤️
@Cupcake12
Good morning! I'm about halfway through Incidents around the House and I absolutely love it. I had to stop reading it Saturday night because I started freaking myself out over every little sound I was hearing in my house. So going forward, I'm only reading it during the day. 😆☀️

I like reading books from my childhood. Archie comics are one of my favorites.

Horror, Crime Mystery and Romantasy. That's quite a mix for this weekend. 😀
I had intended to get through all 6 books this month, but I seemed to forget that these are some thick boys. My editions are all between 500-800 pages 😆

**update: after posting I realized I put E in twice.🤣**
I had to take a break from doom scrolling. I'm working on my reading journal for 2025 to try and relax. This layout is for the A-Z ultimate challenge hosted by @AudiobookingWithLeah

I've been under the weather the last few days, so no coffee but flavored water instead.
Fun memory about this tumbler. My dad and my stepmom came to visit in June of '22 for my daughter's graduation. They went to their very first Pride to show support for her and had any amazing time. They bought a ton of stuff including this tumble for me. Everytime I use it, I think of that day and smile. 😃

A little late and not really the first line but this is a beautiful dedication. 😍
I watched this documentary this week. It follows the life of Billie from 2016-19. It covers her & her brother writing, recording, & releasing the album "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" & the struggles that came with their new fame. I loved that they showed everything; the good, the bad, the painful. Watching & listening to her songs now, hits a little different knowing the back stories that accumpany them.

1. Christmas and Christmas lights. Other than that, nothing. It is my least favorite season, and I could honestly do without it. 🤣

@TheSpineView
I'm currently reading 2 different books where the characters are obsessed with Tim Tams. Last night I bought some and have to say they are pretty good.
It was strange, how when something moved in the dark, everyone's first instinct was to go inside and hide under the covers.

I'm repeating my goal of 100 for this year. There are months where I read everyday and then months where I don't read at all, so 100 seems achievable.
