A mother contacts Frieda regarding her 15 year old daughter who is going through a difficult time. She is not eating. In conversation with Frieda the daughter says that she was raped in her own bedroom.

This leads Frieda back to her hometown and down memory lane.

Absolutely love every book in this series 💛

Quick photo before I take my library books back although still can't go in to have a good browse.
4th in the frieda klien series sees the psychotherapist helping the teenage daughter of someone she knew as a child. This triggers a memory from her own youth and with an unwell mother finds her back in the small Suffolk Town and the reader visiting her past. It was a well told mystery although it does explore some very difficult themes .

1. I think going from a person that needed plans and to be busy socially to being ok being home.
2. Nothing else matters as long as I have my family and health.

Frieda Klein is a fantastic protagonist. Not enough of Karlsson in this book for me but forgiven for how good it was.

I actually quite like Thursdays as they are almost Friday. 😆I‘ve not read this series although I have read a couple of Nicci French books. I think whether it is Thursday‘s Child or Thursday‘s Children for the title depends on where in the world you live.😉

I went to a hs where we had to take all 5 majors all 4 years ( math, science, history, English and a foreign language) Fav extracurricular: I was on the softball team but not for long cuz I threw like a girl, lol.
