I really liked this. Although I didn‘t initially like Gwyneth‘s time travel partner, Gideon, he grew on me. It did bother me some, though, that no one seemed to think they needed to now train Gwyneth on those things Charlotte had been learning. I realize that it would not be nearly as much training, since the time travel is now already happening with Gwyneth, but it sure would have been some help, I would think!. Cont in comments...

I received Ruby Red from a fellow Litten whose daughter loved it and is also a huge Sherlock Holmes 🕵ï¸�â€�♂ï¸� fan. It was a great fit for me. It was my favorite read of the challenge until I finished the audio of book 2, Sapphire Blue. Now I can‘t choose.

Alright...I didn't hate this as much as I thought I would lol I actually like the way they used time travel and I didn't HATE the characters! The romance felt pretty forced and just thrown in but my interest is definitely peaked enough to read book 2

Started this fun series the other day. It's a YA romance with some fun time travel mystery stuff thrown in. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.

My friend brought this book to our divorce party coffee date.

I'm giving Ruby Red ��������. The story has a fun juvenile feel to it, which is not horrible if that's what you are looking for. I think my daughter would enjoy it. I am enjoying the mystery of the whole story and will be reading the next book in the trilogy.

It was fun. The time traveling plot was the best part, altought a little bit confusing.

A favorite of mine. The entire series is amazing. Time Travel, fun, hilarity, one of a kind and enjoyable.

Love this series. Just started it again for the third time.

Finished this audiobook while running my kids to practices. I love the idea of time traveling and was excited for this fantasy YA. I wish the book spent more time in different eras but I am hopeful that the next two books will do that! Great narration!

This is a challenge I set up for myself in January. I was going to read books with covers/titles with colors of the rainbow. I think I sort of gave up in March. I should get back to it. I'm missing some colors.

I read this book (series) about two years ago and absolutely loved it!!! Ruby Red is such a funfilled easy read. Fantastic story, lovable characters, beautiful setting, sweet romance, a bit of mystery, and a lot of laughs. Oh and there's also movies!! It's in German and I've only seen the first one, but I enjoyed it!

Ich habe so eben "Rubinrot" von Kerstin Gier beendet?
Und was soll ich sagen? Ich bin absolut begeistert?
Ich finde die Protagonisten in diesem Buch total sympathisch.
Er - Gideon, ein kleiner "Kotzbrocken" und die liebe Qwendolyn, ein total nettes Mädchen, was mit der Situation noch gar nicht zurecht kommt.
Ich muss echt sagen, dass mir auch der Schreibstil sehr gefallen hat.
Jetzt bin ich gespannt, wie der 2. Teil sein wird, fange gleich an!�

I read the first book in the Ruby Red trilogy, bought the last two and never finished them. I need to finish them but I can't remember what happened in the first one lmao.

This book is a light read, but fun because of the time traveling element. The book had me wondering what would happen. Each of the characters was planned out nicely. I cannot wait to get my hands on the next two books to see how everything gets resolved and so I can know the secret to the secret.

Es ist schon eine Weile her, seit ich dieses Buch gelesen habe aber ich versuche es mal aus meiner heutigen Sicht zu bewerten.
Was ich an diesem Buch so toll fand, waren die Zeitsprünge. Ich mochte auch die Kodex Einträge die zwischen den Kapitel zu lesen waren.
Über den Schreibstil kann ich nur sagen, dass ich diese Bücher damals ziemlich schnell gelesen hatte und es somit einfach aber trotzdem Spannend geschrieben war.

Just finished it and I want to read the next one already! A nice young adult time travelling story.

It's been a while since I read anything in German and the dictionary in the ereader is not cutting it. Luckily we will have paper dictionaries!

There was a slow bit in the middle. Luckily, it picked up quickly. It may not be high literature, but I found it very entertaining. Good for escapist reading. I'm glad I have the second book already because I really want to continue with this story and characters.

Not a heavy read, but perfect for the red category of my self-designed challenge to read the colors of the rainbow. Also perfect for the Day without a Woman.

Yes! I gave this one a chance and I was sucked in immediately! This is not my cup of tea but boy did it wow me. Give it a shot even if you're not into time travel, historical fiction, or young adult romance. You might be surprised!

Next up! I've been reading a lot in the past few days and it feels amazing to blow through some of my TBR!
