Was not a fan of this one, it was more of a history of Jane, with occasional Christmas details sprinkled in, often just the same info in a different way. This was my #doublebookspin I‘ve read both for every month all year 🎉🎉 @TheAromaofBooks
pickI liked this, pretty dry and academic in places but the fun tidbits of information kept me reading and I‘m excited to try a recipe or two (mostly for alcoholic tipples, oddly enough). so-soI highly enjoyed the first few chapters of how it described the history behind Christmas traditions. As it then moved forward with describing how certain Christmas events shaped Jane Austen, I found the writing lacking. There were many editing errors that it almost felt like a draft. 3 ⭐

This ornament is perfection- and will not go away!!! And I love these wax melts to close letters with a Jane profile!!! Ann- Where did you find them? I can‘t believe there is more because this was such a perfect box!
I think today was the perfect day for my #averyjaneaustenholidayswap to arrive #happybirthdayjaneausten thank you so much Ann! This box is delightful! I will post pictures of the other items close up- except for the popcorn. I was allowed to have a handful while my almost grown children ate it while my back was turned!!!

pick#pemberlittens it‘s worth the read. I bought this for my daughter who loves Austen. Even as a Bronte girl myself this was fun for the season. This is a library book. I did a try it before you buy it with the library 🤪
