1) Sexiest: Miss Celestial Temple & Rosamunde Contessa di Lacquer-Sforza from Glass Books 💙
Dweebiest: Ned Nickerson (Nancy Drew's bf rocks some alliteration, but his name has Knickers in it. And I'm a child.)
Best-to-name-a-cat-after: Tywin Lannister
2) Tagged. Love this book. Currently reading the sequel... it's... 😬😬😬 not as good.
The writing was actually quite nice, but a WHOLE lot of reading for no real story development. I gave it about 150 pages and when I still had no real idea of what was happening and I gave up. I don‘t have time or patience for that kind of book. If you like that style though, it would be a good book for you.
Just finished my 3rd reading of this old fave.
This pervy Steampunk action adventure novel still has my heart. There just isn't any other single volume that I can compare it to in ambition & scope. It was the first time I'd ever read anything like it, & once again, I became fully immersed in the world.
Attitudes in the book feel Victorian, so expect some problematic content, and avoid if you don't like anything long winded!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Remember that graphic that compared choice of bookmark to D&D alignments (Lawful Good, Chaotic Neutral etc...)?
Where do you reckon Kindle-as-bookmark comes?
Chaotic Evil? 🤣🤣

1) A fictional Victorian-style city
Thune - a D&D style city
An exclusive college in Vermont
The Realm of the Elderlings
2) Any dark academia or gothic setting has the power to win me over. Also, Japan.
3) Anywhere with a vintage-futuristic aesthetic: for example, Bioshock's Rapture, Fallout's post-apocalyptic retro world or Dishonored whale-oil-punk Victoriana.
Did I just scrabble around my bedroom looking for books to load into a rucksack in a pretend apocalypse? (Perhaps)
Is that a Final Fantasy viii strategy guide? (Maybe)
Does anyone know where my Complete Poems of John Donne has gone? 🤨 (No?)
Why didn't I purchase the last two Fitz books BEFORE the apocalypse??? (Rae! 🧐)
Will I change my mind on these selections in 5 mins? (Almost definitely)

I HAVE MORE QUESTIONS, LITSY!
1) The Glass Books of the Dream Eaters - Steampunk, adventure mystery, or The Last - post-apocalyptic mystery!
2) How about Mystery, Sci Fi (or Fantasy) & a pinch of Psychological Horror? 🤔
3) Splatterpunk Sports Biography 🤣🤣
What about you?

Thanks for the tag @JenReadsAlot 💕
1) The tagged is my favouritest book ever! OK, so no one I recommend it to likes it... but I don't care... I still maintain it's the sexiest, most adventuriest, most entertaining romp I've ever read 💙💎
2) There are 3...
💜 Woman has skirt. Gets stalked.
🛳 Incredible Adventure with talking boats
💍 Surprising attraction to brooding billionaire

I am definitely drawn to books based on their covers. Here are just a few examples...
I haven't yet read Stay up with me, Daughter of the Moon Goddess or A is for Arsenic but they are tantalising.
Things I am drawn to:
- Gold lettering & designs
- Lit up windows in the dark
- Deco style
- Steampunk
- Beautiful simplicity
- Lamplight / lanterns

I bought this book for a dollar at a thrift store and I forgot I had it. It's time to move it up on my reading list. It sounds really good.

I am posting one book per day from my extensive to-be-read collection. No description or reason for wanting to read the book. Some are old and some will be new. Don't judge me - I have a lot of books.
Day 93.
