Absolutely loving reading this series. I got very grumpy with anything which took me away from reading this. Manon is probably one of the highlights of this book - such a great character with amazing development. Need the next one ASAP!

This book is pretty much an adrenaline rush from beginning to end. So much action, so many reveals, some unexpected turns. I find myself drawn to so many of the characters, even some of the less sympathetic ones. This does not stand on its own; it won‘t make sense if you‘re not reading the series in order. And oh, am I looking forward to the next book!
There are about a hundred other books I SHOULD be reading today - but all I've wanted to do was finish my reread of this book! 🤭💕📚 #catsoflitsy #rumpel #littenkitten
I spend a lot of time sitting in doctor‘s offices with my hubby these days, but at least I‘m getting a lot of reading done. I am so hooked on this series. Trying not to binge read—I‘ve made a deal with myself to read at least one other book before I start the next in the series.
One of the most frustrating things about the early parts of this series is how often the young women dismiss each other as shallow, vapid bimbos who automatically qualify as The Enemy.
One of the best things about its later parts is how they realize this is bullshit and they team up to support each other and maybehopefully save the world.
I finally finished all the novels I had out from the library (and, sadly, bounced off a thriller I purchased a couple months back and really looked forward to), so it‘s on to QUEEN OF SHADOWS! Jade‘s sister, Ivy, is a solid reading buddy for this one, since she avoids household sunbeams at all costs. Give her a shadowy napping nook and she‘s a happy, happy girl.
Have been waiting for all that goes on in this book for a long, long time, and SJM delivered!!! This is the best one yet from the TOG series. More there is to come and cannot wait to see how it develops. Again I must say Aelin is one of my role models, my hero.
So intense!

about half way through! so good so far. i can't put it down
Chugging along and now starting the 4th book in the Throne of Glass series. I'm really getting into it now.
Holy frick. I‘m at a loss of words. So much happened and I soaked it all up. The last books were incredible world building for this one to go full blast the whole time without any real confusion or hiccup. Usual Maas manner, built up to final 100 pages. Though here, it was earlier. I adore Rowan and am glad Chaol is over himself. Did not expect this glorious book to be so GOOD. Still not sure on Manon. I love Lysandra. #sjm
THAT ENDING TWIST 😱
Aelin and her court are desperate to bring back magic to the realm to overthrow the king and his demonic army. Book hashes out many plans to obtain certain objects to help in their endeavor. Still having a hard time being excited about this series but it‘s going somewhere… just not in this book 🐌😴
I love when an entire series is out in paperback and I don‘t have to wait for the next book. Love this series so far..”Let‘s go rattle the stars”. Love Rowan and Manon the witch. Every character in this story has a place. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ How is every series by this author this good?!😁💪🏽🌞
I literally want to gag every time I read a Chaol POV. Like babe. Can we move past all of the murder already? What a self righteous a-hole.
My fave in this series so far! I am feeling much warmer towards these characters and am beginning to understand the love people have for it . .. although, it's still no ACOTAR!
As I am currently working my way through this series I definitely think this shirt applies. Then again, it could probably apply to most things I read 🤔😂😜
“‘What if we go on,‘ he said, ‘only to more pain and despair? What if we go on, only to find a horrible end waiting for us?‘
Aelin looked northward, as if she could see all the way to Terrasen. ‘Then it is not the end.‘”

Celeana Sardothien, assassin, banished to Wendlyn for safety discovers that she's been withholding her true identity from even herself. She meets Rowan a fierce Fae Warrior who is tasked with training her once again. She hates Rowan, and the feeling is mutual. All she needs to do is train so she can get more answers to Elena's mysterious clues. This series is good enough that I forgot to write my review and went straight to the next book.
The further I get in to this series, the more I love it 📚💜📚💜
I felt like this one brought together so many storylines that have been building in the first few books. I loved seeing the different characters finally meeting & all the major shifts in their world. It‘s such a band of misfits, and I love that they all still have a sense of humor despite the war they are fighting. Manon‘s plot might have been my favorite in this book. She‘s learning how to question commands and make her own decisions as a leader.
As I finish the one book, I absolutely have to start the next book. This series is just that good 😊
3.4/5⭐️
This one was SLOWWW as a snail for me. The whole book seemed to cover 2+ weeks worth of time, & a lot of it was kind of a snooze until the main events happened & relationships progressed. 😴 BUT the tables flip in this book, which is exciting & also heavy. Chaol lost me, but I still have the other homies to obsess over. I am not going to lie, I skipped most of the witch chapters again because I just don't care 🤌🫣🤷♀️ & the recaps ugh✋️
I am loving this series now. I almost bailed with the first two books and I'm glad I've kept on reading. Amazing world building and I'm loving how the various characters are changing and how that makes the story itself evolve. #chunkster #bookspin @TheAromaofBooks
Along with my previous review on books in this series, i get a bit lost in the story because there are so many characters in different places at different times, however, the last few chapters never seem to fail to keep me toed in and needing to know more.
Such an amazing series 🥹 amazing characters and story line ❤️
Oh my god!! So many things are unfolding and it‘s hard to keep up! She‘s back in her home city and she‘s ready for a fight! Let the riots begin.

This week's picks are:
📚: Queen of Shadows
✒️: Meghan Quinn
🎬: Quest for Camelot
🎤: Queen Latifah
🎶: Question- System of a Down
Super excited and at the same time pissed off and not looking forward to reading this!! Anybody else feel that way after the ending of Heir of Fire?
Lorcan and Elide should definitely end up together! I love this series so much and every character has a great background. This page jumped out at me and comes close to heart 💜

Going with one of my favorite series by Maas for this one. Had to go with a “Queen” title!

I didn't have many to choose from. Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas is my choice.
So in love with this series! The Chaol has been on my sh*t list though this book and this right here was when Aelin took the words right out of my mouth 😍

A little Sunday morning reading 📖❤️

The plot was a continuation and had some massive plot twists, I really loved the direction of which the story is going. The characters once again are all on point, especially Manon🥰but I do absolutely hate Chaol, his whining is so annoying. Rowan though😍The romance was on point and I also liked the small developments with some other characters.
I'm really enjoying this series and can't wait to tandem read the next two!
Bk9 of February was finished today. The 4th in Throne Of Glass, there‘s a lot more action, heartbreak & a few new characters introduced. Moving between Aelin/Rowan, Dorian, Chaol & Manon, alliances shift & form & a battle is fought but not the war. One of my favourites in the series. #BookspinBingo #SeriesRead2022 #PennyPerPage #ChunksterChallenge #Pageathon #FinishingTheSeries #KickTheSlump
Book four of The Throne of Glass series, this one was good, but too long. I also started Maryjane by Jessica Anya Blau
It was a successful #readathon

The only word I can think of that fully describes this book is long. There were some really good parts, but they were so few and far between it was hard to enjoy.

So much happens in this book, & I found myself literally shouting out loud with some of the twists at the end (yes, I‘ve read this series before, & yes, my memory is bad enough that it basically feels new 😂).
We‘ve had a really stressful couple of weeks at home, and this series is such good, fun comfort reading. On to the next!
The last book I finished before camp ended! Heir of Fire and Queen of Shadows are probably my favorite books in this whole series. Chaol can jump off the tallest glass spire, but I enjoy everyone else. Rowan and his cadre are still my favorite characters, and Elide/Manon‘s storylines are more compelling than the others, but I still had a good time.

It has taken me awhile to continue this series because I found Heir of Fire to be rather boring. This book made me much more excited to be back in this world. While Aelin and Rowan I still find to be quite boring, all of the secondary characters and storyline make up for it.
