I read this way back in grad school, in a class with my favorite professor, and I loved it. On this re-read over 20 years later, I still remembered so much of the plot and even more so Dickens‘ always-memorable characters. I remembered how much I loved David, his sweet mother, Peggoty and Agnes and Traddles, and of course, Aunt Betsey. And I loved to hate creepy Uriah Heep & insufferable Steerforth.
