She describes it as being dark, gritty, and containing a lot of topics that will be triggering and unsettling for some people. I think that‘s water down a little bit, because damn, this got dark really quick. Definitely a horror dark romance and the content is depraved. Anyone else having issues with the app?

So far this series is amazing. I love all of the different personalities and all the different perspectives that these books are written in. Normally books like these are only told from one POV and I appreciate the insight into all of the characters minds. The background story of not knowing alot about Maddie's past is my favorite because it really drives the story without taking away from the action for whatever the problem is in each book.

I‘ve never been very good at keeping diaries 📔 I‘ll start off strong and then life takes over and I get too busy! But my mom bought me this for Christmas and I look forward to filling it out every day! There‘s only 4 lines/day with little prompts - some light, some soul searching. I love that it‘s over 5 years and that every year I‘ll be able to relive the little daily memories that we tend to forget over time 💙

Just had to share this awesome, straight (grown from seed direct sewn not seedlings transplanted....lesson learned last time) carrot my daughter pulled from our covid victory garden this morning! She has taken to gardening like a fish to water this past year! I‘m amazed by her talent.

So many old books! I‘m getting such vintage vibes from this joint and I‘m digging it!

I forgot to post my September wrap up yesterday. I read 11 books. My favorite was The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. My least favorite was Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but I don‘t think graphic novels are for me.

I just finished reading a book. I put a warning at the beginning of this review because this book has content that might be upsetting to other readers out there. I don‘t recommend it. I‘m going to be deleting it off of my Kindle. I downloaded the second book but I will be deleting that one too. This completes the #bookishbingo prompt “A book to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month”. This book is set in Mexico and it has a Mexican Drug Lord in it.
